PROFESSIONAL TREE SVC

The owner Rex Simmons was the reason why the entire project was not done correctly. Mr. Simmons was not the one who performed the actual work, it was his crew of workers who performed the actual work, despite the work not being done as we had asked, the workers did do a good job as far as cutting and clean up. I asked Mr. Simmons to completely cut off the tops of all four trees as they had not been cut in over 20 years, but he refused to listen and only yell at me and say extremely offensive, rude, racist and derogatory remarks to me and to 2 of my neighbors. He said that I "jewed" him out of money and the job was a $1000.00 job! The price and work were already negotiated the night before when Mr. Simmons came to our home! His remarks did not make any sense as my Uncle was the one who paid him in cash and was the one who negotiated the price, I had nothing to do with the money aspect of the whole deal, I only was involved in explaining to him exactly what we wanted, it wasn't a difficult job nor was it difficult in understanding what I wanted. There are four huge trees in our back yard that are spread far apart and all along the fence line, each tree needed to be cut so far down for the entire top to be removed from dead and overgrowing branches. He is pushy, unprofessional, and a racist who lies and spreads gossip for no reason. My Uncle is retired from the Union Pacific Railroad where he and Mr. Simmons use to work together and it's how he came to hire him as he was cutting trees on the side way back when he and my Uncle were working on the Railroad together, he had cut and trimmed trees at our home many, many years ago, so my Uncle recommended him, as there were no problems before so we were not aware of how he truly was. I do not recommend this company as the owner is unprofessional, racist and does not follow through with what the customer wants, he is full of complaints and yells at his customers for no reason! He does not perform the actual work nor does he help at all with the work, he has a crew of men that do it all, his crew are very nice and they do a good job, it just was not done right as he did not follow orders of what we wanted.
