Description of Work: After a windstorm in February, I called Dale to come out and look at the damage on 2/26/2012. After many phone calls to idea, most of which were not returned, a crew arrived on site to complete the work on 4/19/12. Just short of 2 months. Between the time Dale came out and the crew repaired the roof, the roofing supplier attempted to deliver the shingles at least once, but no one from Ideal was here to accept the bundles. Dale said a good roof has airlocking shingles in the valleys, but mine were cut. The contract stated new metal in the valley and flashing along the edge, but neither was done. Old shingles were used on the cap instead of new. Dale had to come out to repair the mistakes his crew had made. I made a phone call to the city and state licensing boards, and discovered that Ideal allowed licensing and bonding lapse. (This could have been a simple administrative over sight.) Dale's crew did look at the rest of the roof and made patch repairs where needed, without being asked or charging. His pricing is competitive.

+ -1 morewe called multiple roofers and he wqas the only one that could come out that day, he came out mulitple times and every time he was on the roof we had the same leaks plus new ones, when trying to call him back it would takes days up to weeks to get incontact with him again, it took about a month to get the roof done to his standards, after he made us pay him after the first time being out there, we eventually ended up fixing it ourselves, it was horrible. . .
