+ -1 moreThe guy found there were wiring problem between thermostat and heating unit and was told they are not responsible for wiring issue and did “fix” the proble only temporary, and billed $156 for an few minutes of work, the issue pop up the next day which i fixed on my own wiring with a new wire myself. The issue is that service was not an service by not fixing with new wire and they didnt check my air filter if it were an service call they should check off all point to ensure there will not be an problem. obviously the problem was not solved the next day.

Description of Work: Replaced condensation tubing, but it turned out that was not the problem. Failed to diagnose the problem and charged $200+ to replace tubing.

Description of Work: Overall I think they did a very good job. I'm happy with the ductless HVAC system they installed. I was disappointed in the follow-thru after it was installed though. They eventually did what they said they would do but I feel it happened only because I had to "prod" them. I'm still waiting to see if they have to replace the breaker they installed based on the city inspection. I don't think I should have to keep contacting them, but hey, they got their money and that's apparently what matters. |Based on my experience with the other contractors that I either got bids on or tried to get bids on, I would use First Call Jewel again.

+ -1 moreIt was a bad experience, but before then I've had very good experience. They didn't seem to follow through and they weren't as careful as before. When I had work done with them, they were very good at what they did, but this time the guy did really sloppy work, and didn't follow through. They are a little on the higher side in price. I am thinking about using them again, but I am also thinking about looking for another company. They installed our air conditioner and I really liked that. I have this kind of an idea of going back to what I know. I will probably give them another chance but one more, and that is it.
Description of Work: First Call Jewel came in and did the inspection 2 years ago. They were supposed to install some stuff for free as part of the inspection, but they didn't.
