The owner had us sign a contract and pay him 1800.00 down. Then refused to do the job as described in the contract. Extorted an additional 600.00 to hire a specialist (who was here for 2 hours and walked off the job saying he didnt thing Paul would pay him, but i could fire paul and hire him for 1200.00 to complete the job.He also left with 5 gal. of paint and i had to call the police to get it back.). Paul sited lead paint as the reason to keep my money and not do the job. He then lied about the paint he bought having primer in it and painted over old curling loose paint on only 3 sides of my house (one coat) and not even on the side the "specialist" striped bare in places. We had to hire someone to fix the work paul did and we had to strip, prime, and paint half the house ourselves.2 days after the house was painted Paul sent another estimate/proposal for even more money thinking we still needed it done, he never even looked at the house before that one but he came on the property and removed a box of caulk that was included in the first estimate. We took Paul to court today and won a full recovery including court costs. It cost me 1,550.00 to have another painter fix the work Paul did on the front of my house. Buyer beware.
