Description of Work: I hired Me and My Truck to load and unload the moving truck I had rented for my move from Moscow Idaho to Pullman Washington. The two man crew arrived on time and were friendly and professional. My old apartment and the new one have stairs, narrow doorways and awkward hallways,and I have ALOT of stuff, including very big, heavy furniture pieces, and a few delicate antiques. They moved everything into and out of the truck quickly, efficiently (I have never seen such a well packed truck!) and with no damage. They helped me set up the heavier pieces in the new apartment,and put the furniture in place for me. The whole move, from start to finish, was done in less than three hours. The part of my move handled by Me and My Truck was by far the easiest, fastest,and least stressful part of the move. I would recommend them to anyone.

Description of Work: This was the worst moving experience. I moved 2.6 miles across town...the total number of hours I was charged was over 15 man hours. This was a 2 bedroom move and did not include master boxes and clothing, huge pantry and all the kitchen boxes; these were moved prior by friends. So, the furniture, storage boxes and outside storage (closet 5x5 ft). Steve picked up a 17' rental truck for the job which should have moved it all in one trip...actually he moved one piece the first trip because he needed a third person and that person needed to go to a class...so I paid for nearly 2 hours just moving one piece. Then the day continued to go this way...one load for boxes, one load for furniture, one load for misc. Well that truck was never loaded! By operating a move this way, the hours did add up and I HAD to pay. Not only did they "stretch" the day out, I never did see a dolly loaded up with boxes...it was more like one box at a time. What a racket! Note: I moved this 2 bedroom apt w/17' rental truck 2.5 years ago from Boise to Moscow. My total charges were approximately 371.00 with two helpers...granted it was a long, long day with all the driving, but it was done. Locally, this should have been a 4 hour move considering the majority of the apt was moved the prior weekend. Do not use this service, Steve doesn't have the equipment needed to operate this service efficiently, nor does he have the manpower to provide a pleasant experience. Never. Never. Never again.
