It went very well, right from the first contact. Brent responded within hours of my inquiry. He came over and we discussed the project and talked about alternatives. It was clear from our conversation that he had a clear picture of what I wanted. He took some careful measurements and said he would get back to me with an estimate. When the estimate came back it was very thorough - he broke everything out by work phase, with labor and material cost clearly indicated. He also submitted several drawings of what the completed project would look like. He asked for my feedback to make sure he would be providing what we had discussed. He just completed the final touchups today, and I could not be more pleased. I would recommend Woodwright to anyone looking for a builder.

Woodwright performs master level trim and tile installation. This was a cosmetic remodel of a kitchen, two full baths and a 1/2 bath. The price was middle of the road and worth every penney. They removed a "pantry" closet and installed a new pantry cabinet along with a cabinet for a built-in microwave. This included the repair of hardwood floor in the kitchen. Woodwright "rebuilt" the entry to my dining room with a custom designed cased trim. The master bath work included a new bathtub installed in a new framed enclosure. All of the tile in this bathroom was demoed and replaced. Brent is a master tile setter and had to deal with walls out of plumb and square requiring him to cut and trim each 12x24 tile on one wall. The powder room reequired a new vanity set in place along with chair rail. Sub-contractors included plumbing, electrical and painting. Woodwright (Brent and Collin Anderson) is a meticulous remodeler/trim/tile contractor. They are very punctual - I could set my watch on their arrival. They keep a clean work area and clean-up at the end of each day. I plan on using their services again to remodel my laundry room and add trim to my family room. I highly recommend them.

I was exptremely impressed with everything. They were willing to explain and answer all my questions, offered great suggestions when I asked for their opinion, took care to keep costs at a minimum, were very meticulous in their work, cleaned up all thier work area when they were finished, and completed the work within the estimated time frame. Most importantly I couldn't be happier with the results. It matches my existing trim work perfectly and looks beautiful. Wonderful trustworthy company, I would highly recommend!

Went very well. We had discovered that the toilet had leaked beneath the existing tile and saturated the finish floor. Brent had to tear out the old floor, level it and installed travertine tile (existing was vinyl), we then decided to replace the vanity and vanity top. Although we picked out the components, Brent was instrumental in helping us make style and color decisions including the paint. We couldn't be any happier with the results.

Replaced all exterior windows - fabulous job completed quickly and efficiently while also minimizing costs / repairs to the exterior of the home. The scope included several large bay / arched windows on the second story of the house. Repaired shoddy craftsmanship from the original build that had resulted in water intrusion into the walls of the home. The arched / bay windows on the top floor actually caused water damage all the way to the basement windows. Our initial fear following the home inspection, was this would be a tremendous cost to repair, however, much to our surprise, Brent was able to complete the window replacements, wall repairs (including new wallboard / insulation) for an extremely reasonable cost. Installed ceiling fans in all bedrooms: home did not have any ceiling fans in bedrooms (except master). Brent installed reinforced boxes and then oversaw an electrical subcontractor to complete the installation of ceiling fans throughout the house. Rebuild of mantel over fireplace: Brent completed a redesign of the main floor fireplace which included the installation of power outlets, cable and TV wall mount over the top of the existing mantel. Turned out beautifully with all cables hidden behind TV. The largest project we had Brent undertake was the complete remodel of the basement. This scope included the creation of a movie room including in-wall speakers, built-in entertainment center, full hidden wiring to all components, recessed LED dimmable lighting throughout, a new game room area including all tile work, a new wet bar area, painting of all walls & ceilings, new carpet on stairs, sanding / painting of doors, replacement of all hardware, outlets / outlet covers, and construction of movable movie style theater seating stages. He kept his focus on cost as well as craftsmanship and worked hard to reuse items when available to keep costs down and sought the best prices to achieve our overall look. We have used Brent in the role of a general contractor to oversee other small scopes of work (some with major equipment costs associated i.e.- HVAC system replacement) and have been very happy with the resulting work of the subcontractors as well. Brent stands behind his work and always completed a walk-though with us at each stage of the renovation. We are beyond impressed and rely heavily on his expertise.
