The service was great. Cole turned up on time, cleared a very plugged sink, was very polite and responsive to my questions, and offered other advice on important repairs that need to be made. I would definitely call him again.

Excellent service, showed up within the scheduled time, and fixed what needed to be fixed (and then some) at a reasonable price. Explained how to prevent future problems and tidied up before he left.

They are great, returned my call, they were prompt, price is fair.

Initially, I hired Roto-rooter to show up at the house on 6/7/13 between 3:00-4:00 pm. When they didn't show up by 4:00, I called and they told me that they were 3 hours behind, and that they would still come, but that it would be around 7:00. As I do not live in the house, I had to cancel and reschedule for 6/12/13 between 10:00-11:00. When 11:00 rolled around, I again called to find out if they were even coming. They said that they were running late, but would be there in 1/2 hour. 1 hour later, the technician showed up. The scope, and his work were fine, in fact, he was very nice. However, his equipment was not. When I asked for a tape, he told me that since he is "the new guy," he gets the worst equipment and would be unable to provide me with video. Further, after he removed the drain cap, because of corrosion, he was unable to reattach it. When he couldn't find a cap that would fit in his truck, he told me that I "could go pick one up at Home Depot, or something." To their credit, I complained to them about this, and they offered to come out and re-camera the line, and they are also working on getting a new cap to cover the drain access. So, I do feel like they are trying to correct the problem. However, given the number of issues I had, and number of alternative rooter services available, I would not use this service provider again and would not recommend them to anyone else. UPDATE: After some wrangling, Roto-rooter sent out another technician who provided me with a video and proper cap. While dealing with the issue was frustrating, at the end of the day, they made it right, and I because of that, I would use them again.

There was staff who pointed out few things I wasn’t aware of. They changed the hoses for free and then when we had another problem, which we didn’t they actually were the only company that I called that came and did a free estimate. I was calling all these other people who were really new here had them used. I brought Rooter people back again and they came. They had a pretty detailed list and said this is what they would change. They even went downstairs to look at the water heater, said it was fine. They were really helpful. Their price was comparable to others. We didn’t get an estimate from another company. Other’s deal was that they give the estimate and then they credit it back if we use it, but his thing was he wanted to see some estimates before he actually picked somebody to work and it is his house, so he can do it anyway he wants it. From my experience, I lived in a very old house in Auburn, California and I didn’t think they were out of line or anything. It just seemed to me it was not really low and wasn’t outrageously high. When they took care of the bathroom sink and did all of that, I thought it was really reasonable. They did a good clean up in the bathroom and other rooms, on floor, and under the sink. I had a good experience with them. I have no problems in recommending them.

Our washing machine drain was clogged. RotoRooter serviceman came out. He was due at 12:00 noon and arrived at 5:30pm because they were very busy due to severe cold in area bursting frozen pipes. I understood why he was delayed but someone should have called us periodically with an update (I called them). He worked on the drain for about 30 mins. and told us the drain had ice blocking the p-trap. Didn't charge us and recommended that we use an area heater to warm the wall and the drain, and to pour hot water down the drain to melt the ice. It worked and was clear by bedtime. All in all I was very happy with his service.

Was at our site within 1 hr of being called, both times. Peace of mind that the job was done properly is worth any extra cost.

They were excellent. They went above and beyond the call of duty. Their price was quite reasonable and they were able to fit me in on short notice.
