Meridian Plumbing

Job was not done per bid. We contacted Meridian Plumbing to do a simple hot water recirculation pump and two bypasses. Our plumbing splits to feed the two bathrooms, so we needed both bypass junctions. This is the way the bid was written, I still have the copy. The two gentlemen involved could not have been more courteous. However, when they showed for the installation, I was told that there would only be one bypass junction. I asked if there would be any adjustment to the bill to compensate, I was told no. Secondly, the gentleman who originally did the bid, would not shut up on both visits, about our water heater needing replacing. I wish that there wasn't paperwork on it showing the installation date. Only two persons have ever lived here and we have soft water. I probably won't be using Meridian Plumbing in the future, or recommending them. When I found what the I could procure my Grundfos UP15 Pump kit for $288.17 from the factory, that means we paid $501.83 for a couple of hours (at the most) just for the labor.

Great. Mathew was punctual, polite and did as promised. He cleaned up his work area. I will certainly use these guys again.

They did a good job, we had a few little issues but we were able to get them taken care of.

Meridian's response was very timely, professional, and the work was very well done. They had a set price of $197 which might have been a bit high, but I'm also not that knowledgeable about plumbing prices. I also have to add, however, that they came to my house in March to see if I had a water leak somewhere and didn't charge me anything, so that obviously offset the price of the faucet.

This was a remote service on a 2nd home. Arrived on time. Called with 3 options for repair. I asked and he added his thoughtful recommendation. Very pleased with the company admin team and the plumber in the field. They are now my "go to" contractor for plumbing.

Great, fast and friendly. Mike was our plumber and within minutes he gave two possible outcomes and the cost of both options. Quickly after work began, he had everything fixed with an hour and answered all our questions.

They were great. They did some work on a the property that I have, and it turned out just fine.

They did a good job, but they were just too high. They were very expensive. The quality was good. When they started giving me prices, they were very high, very expensive.

The service rep was good, prompt and did the job quickly. The job was during normal business hours and had very easy access to the pipe. Was charge $646 for the job!!! $125 just to drain the water from the house which I ended up doing. Way over priced. I even questioned the price and the tech pulled out his rate book to show the pricing.

I called at 8am, our window for service was 10-12 and Fred showed up at 10. We were able to order a new tube, which was much cheaper than getting the tube and facet together. They gave us both options. He was a seasoned professional & knew what he was doing. Would absolutely use them again.

Zack was great. I had been calling multiple plumbers trying to find some one for after hours work. He was the first one to call back and I could tell he didn't want to make a late run. But he did and found a way to fix the leak so we could have water. He worked quickly and did a great job. It was nice to have some one return a call and fix a problem that really couldn't wait until the next day. I can't rate the price because I have no reference.

Jake came out, looked the house over, and gave us an estimate. All other companies were at least TWICE the price of Meridian Plumbing. Jake took about 4 to 5 hours to install the gas line. He pressured tested it and the next day (Friday), the City inspector came out and approved it. Jake came out the next Monday and took about an hour to hook up all of our appliances and make sure everything was working. We are really impressed with Jake and Meridian Plumbing. He shared with us his personal fishing exploits and where to go for fishing as we love to fish, but are new to the area. He told us his company keeps their staff levels low to cut overhead and to provide customers with the best prices possible. He is so RIGHT!!!

Jake did a fantastic job! He was the one to suggest a hook up on the patio for a natural gas bbq'er to cut down on propane costs. He gave an honest, accurate estimate. His company was half the price of the other 4 companies I received estimates from. He installed the gas line in our crawlspace. The gas line passed inspection and he came back the new working day and hooked everything up. Everything worked the first try and he even shared his fishing exploits with us, since we are fisherman, but are new to the area.

I had gotten quite a few quotes on replacing my 18 yr old water heater. I had pretty much made up my mind on who I was going to use and was just waiting for that company to get back to me with the answers to a couple questions before scheduling the work with them. Unfortunately for them and fortunately for me they never got back to me, so I decided to get one more quote from Meridian Plumbing and I'm glad I did. Meridian by far had the best price and it was on a better quality water heater (8 yr warranty instead of the 6 yr everyone else was quoting). Dan was the tech who installed my water heater and he did a great job from beginning to end. He even tried to talk me out of replacing my existing water heater because it was still in great shape, (so no high pressure sales tactics) but I wanted to get it taken care anyway. I plan on having Dan come back soon to do a couple other things that need to be done and hopefully they go as smooth as the water heater.

He was right on time, quick to complete the work and explained everything well. He made sure to clean up the area after he had completed the work. Fred did a very good job. He was on site for just a bit less than one hour. The $140 was inclusive of his time, the new valve and supplies.

Two gentlemen arrived at our home today to install a bathtub as part of a restoration project to our home due to damage from a flooded area. Both of these gentlemen went above and beyond. They were polite, informative, dedicated to completing the project in a very timely manner, and extremely respectful of our home throughout the entire process. Upon leaving our home, they noticed our old tub sitting in the garage, and extended the offer of disposing the old tub, which was by no means their responsibility, as well as gifting our delighted dog with a new toy Meridian Plumbing Frisbee on their way out the door. Our experience with Meridian Plumbing could not have been more positive!! Definitely a trust worthy company based on integrity and customer satisfaction. Thank You!

The contractor was out the following day to go over what I wanted and gave me a quote. He was very thorough, even to let me know I had some duct work down in the crawl space. He gave me a couple different options for running the water lines and came back a couple days later to do the work. He was very professional, efficient, clean and seems to have done very good work. I will definitely use this company again for any of our plumbing needs and issues in the future.

I was off put by the fact that this company's representative could've shown me where to heat the pipe, and charged a reasonable amount of money for his knowledge and ten minutes of his time. Actually, he was able to thaw the pipe himself in ten minutes. So, in short, Meridian Plumbing could have charged me forty five dollars to have a technician stop by, point out the issue to me and never have had to even get his heat gun out of his truck. I'd have thawed the pipe myself, and I'd call them next time I have a concern. As it is, I feel taken advantage of, so I'll never call them again. Additionally, the way the employee described the minimum fee was in such a manner as to suggest that because he was already at my house, and had entered my garage and found the problem before even knocking, that I had no option to declined any service and forego the 95.00 charge. I believe in paying what I owe, and if this company wants to charge me 95.00 once for 10 minutes worth of work, and never see another dime from me, that's up to them I suppose. Just don't call them if you suspect that your issue may be easily resolved, because 95.00 for a 10 minute service call feels like a rip off no matter how you slice it.

Called their office in the morning. The gal took down my information and told me a plumber would be available that afternoon and would call me prior to coming out so we could coordinate times. Service tech was prompt which was very much appreciated as I had to leave work to meet him. He assessed the problem and quoted upfront how much the service would be, also made sure I understood that should the first service not solve the problem the cost could go up but he would let me know how much before doing anything further. Within 20 minutes the drain was clear. He gave me tips on preventive maintenance to keep the pipes and drains clear. There was no mess. I will definitely use Meridian Plumbing again!
