Integrity Hardwood Floors

I have NEVER been more pleased with a contractor. They came out to measure and discuss what I wanted; arrived promptly and gave me the bid immediately. I got one other bid and found them to be very competitive. They had also come highly recommended. They scheduled the day, time and number of days it would take to complete the job and that is EXACTLY the manner in which the job was handled. This transaction exceeded my expectations with regard to punctuality, returned phone calls, questions answered and their professional and courteous service. A SPECIAL THANKS to Mike, Jeff and Jay for the pleasure of doing business together and my BEAUTIFUL floors! I will use them again!

We were told the job would take 5 days. It ended up taking 3 and 1/2 months! A disaster from the beginning with a crew who didn't know what they were doing much of the time and rarely anyone with authority or expertise to monitor what was going on in the detail that was needed. We had to move out of our house 3 different times as they tried to fix all the continuing issues of completely redoing the floor and then patching the areas that were majorly flawed. Our carpet was cut and we were promised new carpet, but were lied to more than once about the new carpet having been ordered. In the end it had never been ordered. We literally gave up in frustration and we were told by the owner that we "really let him off the hook" and that the whole job was "a learning experience" for him and his crew. They were very polite through it all and sometimes we felt that they were just saying what we wanted to hear instead of the truth. We're less than pleased with the final result of what they call "industry standard". We've had previous hardwood floors installed when it all went as planned. This was nerve wracking and disrupted our lives for over 3 months. They did take $1500 off the total bill in the end, but we felt like it should have been more. We never did get the new carpet and have been left with hardwood floors that have white spots in every room. Not a good experience for anyone, including them.

First and foremost, the floors turned out absolutely gorgeous =) We knew it was going to be a big job and that we would be inconvenienced for at least a week. However, the tear-out took a couple days longer that expected and the installers never worked past 3:00 PM. Over all the job lasted 4 days longer than we were lead to believe in the initial job overview. The installers were very professional, knowledgeable and polite.There were some nitpicky extra items that we had to pay for that we assumed would be included in the installation, such as quarter round finish and carpet finish work for bedroom thresholds. Overall we are very happy with the end product, but we wish we had been given more clarity and honesty for what was to be expected as we had never had hardwood installed before and expected that we would be given a full and clear picture of what was to come.
