+ -1 moreFirst of all, when I called Comtek yesterday, the representative who answered the phone made me feel welcome and gave me the distinct feeling someone would come rescue me. The technician (Greg) came the following day, and he was on time. When I asked if he minded if I looked over his shoulder, he said he didn't mind at all. He identified the problem right away; that is, a program that I used on a daily basis was not allowing me to get passed the desktop. After he tested various programs, he identified the culprit. He said most likely when it performed an "update" something went wrong. It happened to be a virus protector and he asked if I minded if he removed it because he had seen this particular program do this several times before; and I told him to go ahead. He put on a "free" virus protector that he believes is better. Strangely enough, I was having a problem with my BluRay player too and my son was trying to fix it while Greg was here but wasn't able to do so. Fortunately, Greg fixed that too--two things for the price of one. Hooray! Greg behaved in a very professional manner; was friendly; didn't seem to mind my interrupting him with all my questions; and gave me some computer user tips. I highly recommend Comtek.

Description of Work: I had terrible trouble getting to my email and he cleaned up my whole computer. He makes house calls and is very reliable. I've used him 5 or 6 times over the last few year.
