Joe and his crew were very personable, professional and polite. He returned calls promptly and was prompt getting his bid to us after we met. Overall our interaction with hime was good. After the work was done (we were on vacation at the time) and we got to home to view the work, we were a really disappointed. Not all of the faceplate covers were removed before the walls were textured, they were just taped off, creating unsightly and uneven ridges around some of our outlets that are glaringly obvious. In more than one spot the texture had obviously been bumped into before it dried because there were smear marks through it. This happened in multiple rooms. There was texture on some of our finished walls that they didn't even work on that was not cleaned up. There was also a lot of residue on our carpet. They did not dispose of their supplies when they were done, leaving a ton of paper and tape for us to dispose of on our own. Had we been home to supervise the work, it may have gone better. We have had additional drywall work done with another contractor since Joe and I was very impressed with the finished product. I was also home the entire time with the second contractor, so that may have made the difference. All in all, Joe is a really nice guy and I think the work would be great with client supervision.

Description of Work: Crack in ceiling that needed to be drywalled. Taping was fine but texture was off from the rest of the ceiling and not much effort was put into matching the existing paint, even after Joe spoke with my contractor. Painting was done twice and still not the right color and after I called to express my concern, no return call was made. Joe also told me that his crew thought it was a waste of time to worry about such a small job. Obviously that is how they do business. I had to have the entire celing repoainted to be able to have it all the same color, which ran me another $150 for the painter. I would not do business with them again.

Response from ALL IN ONE DRYWALL
We were contracted to do a patch upstairs and paint it. Paint was to be supplied by homeowner. When patch was completed homeowner noticed other cracks in the ceiling and wanted them repaired also. We did advise the homeowner that she would be able to see the patch if she did not paint the whole ceiling to which she replied she didn't want to spend that much money. After we did the patch we noticed that the texture did not quite match so we fixed the texture and took a paint sample down to the paint store so they could match, that paint we purchased out of our own pocket. Again, we said that she would be able to notice the patch if she did paint the whole ceiling, she again refused. Homeowner supplied the wrong paint to begin with.

Received bid from Joe. After performing the job I received the bill and it was 16% higher than the proposal. I did not like that and called Joe to talk to him about it. I fully understand if proposals change, but these things should be discussed BEFORE the job is completed. I thought that we would be able to work out a reasonable resolution to the problem, but Joe refused to budge. I told him that I would pay the entire amount he was asking for but I would not ever use him for drywall services again. He said that was fine. I paid the bill and now, since I am finally an Angie's List member, I thought I would write a review even though it is 4 years after I used the company. I have talked to other builders in the valley who had similar problems with Joe and All in one drywall. There are other drywall companies in the valley who are more reasonable and respectable. I would not use All in one for another project.
