Advanced Heating And Cooling

Our air conditioning went out in the hot summer of 2012. Since we had just purchased the house in April, 2012, we got a home warranty policy. When I called them, they gave me the name of Advanced Heating and Cooling. I called them right away and they checked with the insurance company. As soon as they got the OK, (which took about 15 minutes) they were on their way out to our place to determine the problem. They determined that our air conditioning was dead, kaput, never to cool again. They called the insurance company and got the OK to install a new and bigger unit. Advanced got right on it and ordered a new system. They were fast and thorough. We were so pleased. A problem came up within hours. Advanced came right out, determined the problem, got the needed part and got the job done. I am pleased to recommend Advanced Heating and Cooling to everyone. You won't be disappointed.

It was snowy and icy. I understand that it is sometimes not safe to climb up on the roof of our warehouse when the weather is bad, but it seems that they can't keep track of their service jobs to schedule a technician to come when the weather is good. They came out to service one of our 2 heaters in the building because it was not consistently blowing hot air. The technician told us that he secured a loose wire and the problem got better. Now the problem has started 2 weeks later so I called for another service tech to come out. The office staff took our appointment and I haven't seen anyone for over a week. They have an enticing coupon, but I would be wary of these guys if you need your heater fixed within a few weeks.

The installers were very patient and helpful, as this was not a simple installation. Some extra work needed to be done at the circuit breaker box, which was difficult and frustrating, but they maintained their sense of humor! Unfortunately, it was not done quite right and the a/c went off after a day or two. They were quick to return and correct the problem and everything has gone smoothly since then.

Complicated service due to issues with existing installation, but problem was resolved quickly. Cheerfully accepted discount coupon despite the extra effort required. Good service, reasonable pricing.

Called to schedule an appt and they got me in within a few days at a 10am time slot. I was told technician "Eric" would be at my home between 10a-12noon. Nobody showed or called. I called them at 1:30. The receptionist called be back to tell me that the technician assigned to my job became involved in w/ an earlier appt and forgot to call me to let me know of the delay. Receptionist told me that a techinician would be out between 3-5pm. At 5:15 a different technician arrived. Looked duct work (in crawl space). Provided me with very few details of what the ductwork situation was like. I had to prod him with questions about what work might need to be done and if he had photos. Technician went back down into crawl space to take photos. Asked him if an estimate was possible within the next few days w/ photos as I may be able to get reimbursed for the water damage. He was not very forthcoming with details or unwilling to answer my questions. He said someone would get back to me in the next week or so. That was FOUR MONTHS ago. Took the whole day off to wait around for a technician only to receive no call back. Awful service.

My heating unit was not working when I woke up on Dec 31 (New Year Eve Day) and I was worried that so close to a holiday I would not be able to either find someone or have to pay a rush fee. Advance Heating made it work. They scheduled me same day to make sure I'd have heat (thank you, thank you). And another trickly part, my furnance is in an unfinished attic with no staircase access. The tech handled that perfectly. I let him know the unit had been kicking on and off without staying for very long each time (less than 3 minutes at a time). He diagnosed the issue as dirty heating sensor, cleaned it and was done. Before he worked on it the house was between 49-51 degrees. Now its quickly heating up! I will be using Advance Heating and Cooling or routine maintenance as well for any major repairs for both my AC and heating needs (water heater if ever I should need it, too).

Such an impressive experience. I am telling everyone I know.

Upon calling them for an estimate they were very helpful Since their prices are per job, not hour, I was able to get an accurate estimate for the work. The person asked me if I had heat in my house, which was appreciated in case my old thermostat was not working. Since it was working I was open to any date they could install the new thermostat. Much to my pleasure and surprise, they were able to install it the next morning. The installer was friendly and professional. He provided answers to my questions as he installed the thermostat. Actually, he gave me some information about the "C" wire that I did not know. If I had tried to install the thermostat myself, I could have made a mistake with the C wire that would have cost a lot more to repair. The install went smoothly and the thermostat works great. I told him that I could program it myself on the computer, so he was able to finish his part of the installation in less than 30 minutes. I definitely would use Advanced Heating and Cooling again, and encourage you to do so too.

We have electric heating installed in the ceilings of our 30+ year old home. Last winter the heating stopped working in our livingroom. I went to Angie's List to find someone who could help us with our chilly problem. All the local companies listed there sounded really great. I called several and finally settled on Advanced Heating and Cooling because they could offer me a seven year interest free loan to cover the unplanned expense of a new heating system. The man I spoke with first came over to my house almost immediately to determine what our needs were. He explained how we could save money and avoid much damage to my walls in our installation. He told me what would happen on the day so I didn't have any surprises when they came to install the equipment. I was so thrilled to have clean quiet air conditioning last summer instead of the damp, noisy swamp cooler we'd been using for several years. I am so very pleased with them for the service we received from them start to finish.

We used this company because they offered a special price for this service. The company we usually use was still charging three or four times as much, so we thought we'd give them a try. And it went well. We contacted them to set up an appointment, and there was no problem finding a slot that worked for both of us. When the day/time came they showed up right on time. The technician explained what he would be doing, then went about his business in a very professional manner. I'm not an expert in these things; but it appeared he was well trained, had the right tools and instruments to do his job, and was efficient at completing the tasks involved. He didn't find any problems with our system, so we didn't need to go through the "what do we do about that" phase. But, as far as getting a regular old annual check-up of our system, this company did a fine job.

I called for the appointment, and confirmed that I was on the books with the company for the prepaid system inspection. We set a date, the technician came on that date, spent about 20 minutes to a half hour doing his checking, and told me everything was OK. I believe he had a paper for me to sign, and he left.

Arrived right on time and service was very efficiently and thoroughly conducted. Different things were pointed out to me as I observed the work being performed. Cleaned up area after completion and was very pleasant and professional.

The technician, Steve, was scheduled to come to the house between 2 and 3 PM, he called at 1:45 and said he would be here in 15 minutes which he was. This is very nice as I have sat and waited forever for technicians to arrive without a call and this was nice to have one call ahead of time and show up when they said they would. He went about servicing the units and was very efficient in his time. He left within the hour without any complications. I was happy with the service as I purchased one unit servicing as part of a Groupon and the second was only $99 bucks for both heat and AC. Now I am confident that I am getting the most out of both of my units and will not have to think about it for at least another year.

Everything was fine, my air conditioner was thoroughly cleaned, checked and he also put 2 new filters into my furnace. I didn't need any repair work done.

On time, friendly, seemed to do a good job as far as I can tell (as of right now anyway).

After having the service performed on our furnace we asked Advanced Heating and Cooling to give us an estimate on replacing our old furnace. We decided the price was within our budget and gave them the go-ahead. They had the furnace replaced the next day within a few hours. We have noticed a marked decrease in our heating and air conditioning bill. They were very professional and curtious.

Great service- they arrived when they said they would, gave me a a discount for the call as was indicated on Angie's List, and checked both A/C units. Justin showed me exactly which unit (upper one) was low, checked the other unit and said it was fine. Charge for the necessary freon was very reasonable vs what I have heard other A/C companie charge for freon. I will definitely use Advanced again for any A/C or heating problems and 100% recommend them to others.

The friendly technician arrived on time, was very pleasant, efficient and got the work done quickly.

I wasn't home at the time, but he checked everything out, told us that the unit needed to be levelled, and replaced the filter.

I had a great experience. The receptionist was very friendly and sympathetic, and the tech was friendly and helpful!

Advanced was quick and efficient. Just a system check, but definitely improved performance by cleaning outside ac unit, and checked multiple points in the system. highly recommend.

I'm very happy with the service provided by Steve @ Advanced Heating & Cooling. He was is knowledgeable and respectful and I appreciated him coming to service my air conditioner in 105 degree heat!

Overall, these guys were very professional and extremely helpful. We would recommend them to anyone!
