+ -1 moreIf it was not for a very understanding and compensating furnace installer, things would have been a lot worse. On the agreed appointment time the flooring installer had not arrived and would not respond to repeated phone calls and messages. I had to go to class and the flooring folks had not arrived. The furnace installer waited considerably longer than necessary to allow for the flooring folks to finally arrive and "complete" their work. This was a very simple floor repair. However, I think my dog could have done a better job. The end cuts are not plumb with the existing floor and instead of toe-nailing the strips, they opted to use brads through the top of the flooring. Lastly, on one run of the strips a one inch gap was left open in front of the wall mounted furnace.
Description of Work: Replace a small section of hardwood flooring below a wall mounted furnace. The furnace was removed at the time and could not be installed until the flooring was complete... it was winter, so timing was very important. The area to be replaced was approximately 16"x16."
