A1Heating has installed and serviced our heating and cooling systems for us over the last 25 years, oh and water heaters too. We also used their electrical division to wire in a new hot tub. They are always professional, friendly, and always customer oriented. Office staff are amazing. We would never go with anyone but A1 Heating, Cooling and Electrical.

A1 came out after hours on a 100+ degree day and fixed out air conditioner in just a few minutes. I was so thankful they had the part we needed in their truck. A-1 Heating Does Electrical! I recently purchased a small generator in order to power some essential appliances (refrigerator, freezer, etc.) during power outages. Instead of running cords through doorways, I wanted to have electrical connections through walls where I could then connect the appliances. I had used A-1 Heating to install (in 2013) and maintain a very nice Lennox HVAC system for me and more recently a tankless water heater, so I thought I’d give them a try for electrical work which I had seen them advertise. Aric came out and we discussed the project and he sent me an estimate. Have you ever received an estimate and said “Wow! That’s more than I expected!”? Well, that’s what I did, so I asked for and received a senior discount. At that point I scheduled the job. When the Aric and Jesus came out to do the install, we discussed the project in detail to make sure it would turn out as expected; they also asked more questions as they went and I popped in to see how it was going a couple of times. The hardware they used was considerably more robust than I expected which could explain the higher than expected price. It was an afternoon’s worth of work for the two of them and when complete, they cleaned up everything quite nicely. I wouldn’t hesitate to have them do more work when needed.

A-1 put in our Lennox furnace & air conditioner a number of years ago. They have always serviced them in the fall & spring. The technicians are always well trained & polite to us. We would highly recommend them.

Excellent experience. The folks at A-1 were incredibly responsive from setting up the service all the way to completing the service. Very impressed with their work and service!

After reviewing 4 quotes, I selected A-1 for the job on Thursday, at the peak of the COVID19 outbreak. They were available to start the following Monday at 8AM, and four crews were all here just ahead of time. They followed best case social distancing procedures while one crew performed electrical work, another performed gas line work, a third worked on the furnace, and the fourth crew worked on the air conditioner. By 5PM, the last crew working on the furnace had finished for the day, with the furnace running. Over night a part had failed, but the furnace crew was here at 8AM, and said I should have called, and the night crew would have replaced the failed part. Anyways, they replaced a failed temperature limit snap switch, then installed the unit garage heater, and finished early afternoon. Unfortunately the city inspector was not available to inspect the new gas line until the following day at noon, at which time another crew was allowed to connect the new gas line to the garage heater, and test it's operation OK. Friday, the salesman who gave the quote, called to check if I was satisfied with the new system and the work performed. I told him I was very pleased, it was fast, professional, the system exceeded my expectations, and I told him the city inspector was also satisfied with the work. While the Electrician was working, I had opportunity to explain a future electrical job I want to have done, and he said they now do this work too, so I will be hiring A-1 again when I am ready for my 200A panel upgrade.

He was very good at what he was doing, my old thermostat wasn't working, So, I got a new programmable thermostat, he also put it were I could see it, before I couldn't see it very well at all. He cleaned the heating unit for me and was just great.

The serviceman was prompt, efficient, friendly, and suggested a lower cost option for my needs. We have used A-1 for decades and have never had a bad experience.

As usual the technicians were friendly, helpful & cleaned up after themselves!

I haven't had repairs done yet as I have a newer furnace/AC but have been educated on my system so it will hopefully last longer.

The service was completed in a timely manner, with the technician explaining and showing the work that was completed. He cleaned up the area he had been working in and made sure all items removed that were not needed. Included in the cost is a return visit for winter check up.

Work went well and equipment is performing as expected. Would buy from them again. Have had annual service agreement with them for many years.

Rob (Salesmen) was exceptional followed thru on all situations, and answer questions regarding the unit. Good price and discounts. Called to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. Highly recommend.

Went great. Travis did a really great job on getting everything done, was very thorough, and very easy to work with/talk with. Recommend this company as have used them in the past and will continue with them in the future.

Brandon is fairly new to A-1 and he is just like their other techs - knowledgeable and easy to work with. I watched him as he worked, asking occasional questions which he readily answered. I am on one of their service plans, so the price is cheaper than if I just called for a one-off service.

I have a regular maintenance plan for check ups. This one was for my air conditioner but he also checked the filters on my furnace. Something I usually forget about. He was very helpful and answered all my questions. The maintenance check was pre-paid but the filters were not included so I was billed for the replacements. Not a problem. I was glad he reminded me and then did it for me.

A-1 HVAC did a great job. They figured out the problem and the solution right away. Now the house is very efficient to cool. And the cost of re-zoning wasn't very much. They did an assessment on my HVAC system and said the system is in very good condition. Before I called A-1, I called a different company and they told me that I had to replace the whole system. I'm glad I called A-1. Also, A-1 comes to my houses to do a check up on my HVAC systems about every 6 months, I don't even have to ask them. They are honest, good workers. I own 5 houses in the Treasure Valley, when ever I need HVAC work, I will always call them.
