AC To Z Mechanical

I called AHS to verify that Mark had called them and that the duct work was denied and they said they had NEVER heard from him and therefore, no denial of the claim. Mark lied to me that he had contacted AHS. I verified with AHS that yes...if I had requested work be done on the initial visit from this company, that there should be NO OTHER TRIP CHARGE...that it should have been part of the visit, if the company had any customer service sense. I have contacted Mark since then via phone and text and nothing back from him. I said in my text that we could probably come to some kind of agreement on this before I was forced to review him unfavorably on Angie's List.

Marc the owner, eesponded to my after hours call quickly. My external A/C compressor unit had suddenly started making weird noises and was having trouble keeping up in the extreme high temperatures we were having. After determining it needed at least a thourough cleaning and servicing he responded early the next day with the appropriate cleaning product and equipment. He serviced the unit and determined it did not need repair. He didn't just turn a hose on the unit to clean it as other companies had done. He brought a special foaming cleanser designed especially to clean the metal mesh wrap around the unit. He removed the top, sprayed from the inside, let it set and rinsed it off towards the outside. He lubricated the appropriate parts, checked the compressor and refrigerant. When finished with the outside unit he offered to clean the inside air cleaner filters which he did. He checked the air cleaner and put everything back together. When he finessed the unit ran quieter than I have ever heard it run. It sounded new. I had always been unhappy with how noisy it was. It now runs quietly and is doing a great job of cooling. The unit is about 33 years old. He stated I don't need to replace it, it is American made and good quality. Every other company has tried to sell me a new unit. His company also offers customers a maintenance program where they call you when it is time for seasonal maintenance. I signed up. I am quite certain that Marcs timely response and thourough attention saved me costly repairs in the future. PS. Marc's business address is actually in Marsing, Idaho but he works in Boise and all over the Treasure Valley. I highly recommend him.

Yes I had contact with AC To Z Mechanical. They came out in December. It was very good. I spent $60.00 because I had it on a warranty program.

He answered my call on the first ring. I needed my AC unit repaired. He came out that day and evaluated it. Recommended a new unit (mine was 20 years old!). he got the new unit within a couple days and had it installed the day he got it. His price was less than half what the other companies were quoting!
