Description of Work: Added an additional drain field to my existing septic system.

Description of Work: The plumber was very polite and competent. He installed a new kitchen sink faucet and a new bath tub drain. The original appointment had to be reset due to one of the plumbers having quit. Other than that the service was excellent and was very polite.

Description of Work: As with the previous [Anchor], we never heard back.

Description of Work: I had a septic tank that was failing, so they pumped out the tank and preformed the necessary repairs on the tank.

Description of Work: Our house is in a neighborhood of houses, most of them built between 1900-1940. Plumbing and electric infrastructure are issues we all have. When our pipes backed up again, we called these folks, from the Lewiston office. They sent a wonderful person worked at problem sink, put a long snake to clear it, then sent down a camera to make sure he'd cleared it all. 2nd time, it was the sewer pipe from house to the alley to city pipe, thru two backyards--along, old pipe. Again, he cleared it with a hammering machine-something, then the camera to inspect pipe and his work. They are on-time, reasonable, and clean up the mess created before they leave!

Description of Work: We've used this company at least three times in the 7 years we've lived in this house. Our home was built in the '50s so eventually we will need to re-plumb the whole house. Even still Roto Rooter always considered our budget and overall outcome in their plan of action. Below are the basics of the services they have performed over the past few years. 1. Backed up pipes in kitchen and laundry (circa 2007): They assessed the plumbing, snaked the pipes, and cleaned the pipes. There was no other repairs needed at that time. Nor did they try to "sell" us a service we didn't need. 2. Septic Tank pumped out after 5 years + backed up pipes in kitchen and laundry (again): They pumped the septic tank without problem, and gave us a verbal report about the condition of the septic tank and how full it was at the time. They had to drive on our grass because of where the tank is located, but where thoughtful about leaving as little damage as possible. There wasn't any damage to our lawn. As far as the backed up pipes: they snaked them, and found no other repairs were needed. They also recommended a few ways that we could help avoid the backed up pipes in the future (bleach was the highest recommendation, which was nice that they weren't trying to sell us an expensive cleaner of their own!). 3. Another episode of the backed up pipes (kitchen and laundry room) resulting in flooding in the laundry room. We determined that it was a subteranian leak. They gave us a few options for repair. a) They could break through the cement basement and go as far as needed to repair the piping. OR b) Split the drain and pipe it out through the floor into the outside and directly into the septic tank. (These options were also given to us by our plumber friend, so we felt comfortable knowing that they were in fact the options we had.) We chose to take our chances not knowing how deep the subteranian leak was and had them jack hammer into the cement basement floor. Thankfully they only needed to go a couple of inches around where the pipe goes down the cement floor, to find the leak. They repaired it, sealed it, and tested it all in a matter of about an hour and a half tops. That was a year ago and we haven't even needed to snake the kitchen/laundry piping since then! We've followed their suggestions to keep the pipes extra clean and we even decided not to use our garbage disposal anymore to minimize what goes down the drain.
