+ -1 moreI had Mike Ewing and Casey Dinubilo as electricians at my home to install a new subpanel in my garage as well as to troubleshoot a few other items. I must say that they were both amazing people. They were kind, competent, and accommodating during their visit. The work they accomplished was done well, timely, and they even went out of their way to ensure that I felt comfortable with the work that was done. I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a competent set of electricians to accomplish a job. Thanks guys for the amazing service!

+ -1 moreMike's serviced my AC unit on a newly purchased home before we closed on the house. They confirmed evrything was working properly and was maintenance. 6 weeks later when i moved in I found that the AC wasnt working. The supervisor came out snd said the blowet was bad and needed to be replaced. It would cost about $700. He said he made some adjustments to the motor to keep us cool till i could get it fixed. I had another company come out and they noticed that my motor was extremely hot and burning up from what Mike's did. I called and talked with the supervisor and he says he would give me a 1 time deal to fix the moter and blower for $850. He would not take any responsibility to the AC not working in the first place nor take responsibility for burning up the motor... i will never allow mikes to do ANYTHING in my home again.
Description of Work: My AC in working order when the maintenanced it right before i bought the house.

The technicians on both the plumbing and HVAC sides have always been polite....courteous and professional. They came out quickly to repair our gas water heater that was leaking. Highly recommend.

+ -1 moreOne year ago, Mike's Mechanical finished installing central heating, ductwork and air-conditioning in my 1957 home. I have never lived in a house with any of these conveniences. I was toasty warm in winter and comfortably cool in summer. It was wonderful. The greatest surprise was a refund check from my budget plan for $731. Wow! My budget payments went from $171 to $123 a month. I am thrilled. Thanks Paul Moser for talking me into this great investment. Thanks to Brian and Brian who were the most efficient workers I've ever seen. Fast, friendly, long days and great job. Thanks to all of you at Mike's for your patience in teaching me how to run my new climate. I love it.

I have had them replace motors, check outside A/C equipment etc. All well done for good price. Description of Work: Had these guys check out a commercial walk in cooler that was having a problem with leaking and not cooling properly. The initial check out was completed in a timely manner and an estimate given. After we ok'd the repairs, it was another three days, (Friday afternoon), before they called back. They wanted a deposit before they'd order the parts and didn't tell us when the estimate was given three days earlier. After the deposit was dropped off on the following Monday, (because they closed before we could get there on Friday), it was another two days before the part was ordered and the following Monday before the repairs were done. We had to call them on Tuesday to find out if the repairs were completed and the system was functioning correctly! Worst of all, this is a commercial cooler in a business and it was down for almost two weeks because they wouldn't contact us to let us know what was going on. The quality of the work performed was good, but they were rude on the phone and tried to accuse us of being the reason that they didn't get the part ordered on time. |Unfortunately, the HVAC contractors in this area are all about the same as far as timeliness goes, so it's the lesser of evils as to who you have to use to get the job done.

Description of Work: I have used Mike's for the past 8 years on several projects. Installing new sinks, hot water tank purchased and installed, updating plumbing and repair on existing heat and air conditioning systems. They have always provided excellent work... currently they are updating kitchen plumbing and installing a dish washer for me and they are prompt and easy to work with. The cost of service in this review was for a purchase of new hot water tank and installment of tank.

Description of Work: Our air conditioner was overheating and the motor quit. We called Mikes and told them what was happening and told them we needed a new motor. A man came out and got the motor going and charged us $60. 00 for a service call. Later that day the motor quit again, so we called again. The next day he arrived late and then finally replaced the motor. We payed another service call.
