 + -1 moreThe techs told her she had a bad compressor and said someone would come by and talk to them about it. Later a salesman/closer showed up and tried to tell them they would be better off to buy a whole new system for $4500. Luckily my son-in-law called me and I called a company I trust who fixed their problem for $300. Later I found out this is what they do to all of there customers.

 + -1 moreThe experience was great, I was worried that it was going to be super expensive, but it was not (in my opinion). First, when I called the office, I felt like they were actually concerned about my issue and they wanted to help. Once the worker came to the house, I was confident in his knowledge of the AC unit and he got to work right away. In just a short time he had discovered the issue and confirmed with me that it was okay for him to continue the instillation of the new part (with an explanation on why this part can malfunction). We were able to have the Air Conditioning on that afternoon and have not had an issue since.
Description of Work: The provider fixed our AC unit.

Description of Work: After I placed my call I received a call to let me know approx what time I should expect the tech. And a call to let me know he was on his way. Once there the tech was very professional serviced our furnace in a timely manner and explained what he had replaced. I was very impressed that he even put shoe protectors on his shoes so he didn't track dirt in the house and he cleaned up his mess before he left. Very pleased with Home Heating.

 + -1 moreThe tech was called and was over to our home within a about an hour (very fast considering the time of year and the demand). He was very professional, explaining everything he was doing, before he performed any work. He did some quick trouble shooting (he seemed to have a fair amount of experience and knew what he was doing). He found a bad capacitor on the fan motor, he even had one on his truck! The repair was completed and our AC was back on within about 30 minutes! They were quick to respond, very knowledgable, quick to do their work and completed a very professional job. I am very pleased with them and would definitely use them again! I give them a 'B' on price only because I am very hard to please when it comes to money leaving my hands and going to someone else's... I do feel that they did a great job at a good price.
Description of Work: We had one of the service guys come out to work on our Air Conditioner. The fan on our compressor was not working and it smelled like electrical fire... We called our local company hoping they could get right on it, it was pretty hot that week... He inspected the unit and did a repair for a lot less than I expected.

Description of Work: Came out to do diagnostic of equipment not working for a charge of $85. Found a wire that needed to be spliced and wanted an additional $99 to splice that together and then would still be more charges on top of the $184 if any other problems were found??? Asked technician to leave the premises. Called competitor who was able to diagnose, provide needed parts, and install them and have it working the same day all for $112.00 total. Called and confirmed with the "boss" at Home Heating that this was the way they charge and do business---Advised him that I found this inappropriate and outrageous and would be sure to spread the word.
