Wright Roofing did an excellent job on our roof. Professional, courteous, punctual, no "contractor speak" when it came to price, schedule, and job expectations. In my opinion this is how business should be done industry wide.

The whole experience was great. There wer no "surprise" costs or issues. Jerry stays very busy and there is a reason for it. We plan to have him put new siding on our home as soon as we can afford it.

Wright Roofing is the finest roofing company in this area. They just completed taking off my two former roofs which were getting in bad shape. My home had two different cedar roofs on it and took quite awhile to remove. They did a wonderful job. These guys are very professional and clean up every piece of paper and nail that is left on the ground. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs roofing done.

They're excellent all around. They did a great job on matching the color and everything. Everything I told Jerry that I thought I needed they took care of very quickly and good. I went out and took a look at it. I had no complains with those kind of service.

When I need any roofing work done, I always contact Wright Roofing. When I call Jerry at Wright Roofing, I know that I will get a written bid at a fair price. I also know that when Jerry says they will show up at a certain date, and an approximate time, that is when they will be there at the property. Wright Roofing shows up, gets the work done, cleans up, and gets the job finished as quickly as possible. Jerry is also very helpful in providing his expert advice, as he has been in this business for a long time. I would not hesitate to recommend Wright Roofing. I have used Wright Roofing many times as I have needed work on rental properties, and feel I have received fair and honest work.

Between being a busy time of the year and the weather, they weren't able to get to us for a couple of weeks. The main complaint we have is they didn't clean up as well as we had expected. Overall a good job. We had them reroof our home about 30 years ago and had them come back.

Wright's are are neighbors and the work they do is on many of our neighbors homes. Very professional, and i would recommend this company to anyone in need of this type of service. Also, they are quick to fix roofs that have blown off.

We had a metal roof installed. We called a little late in the season but they got us done in a timely manner. Cleaned up all mess and everyone we dealt with was very friendly. Would recommend them to anyone. Great pricing also.

We are part of an aplex, and when the roof is replaced, we have to agree to do the work and on who to use. We all agreed on Jerry and it took him over a week to do the work because it was 8 roofs he was basically replacing. We are really satisfied with the professionalism that the crew members showed. They made sure when they were finished daily that everything was done correctly. At the end of the work they went around with a blower and made sure everything was nice and clean in the front and back yards. They made sure it was straight and clean like it had been before they had done the work. We have a direct-tv dish on our roof and they had to remove it while they were doing the work. We had a program we had to watch one day and Jerry worked with us to make sure the dish was back up within 15 minutes, so that we did not miss this program. Two days later they had to lift the dish again, but had it back up in 30 minutes and made sure it was working properly and the picture was great. About 2 days later we had really bad winds that moved the dish, so we called Jerry and they had someone out that day to reposition the dish. They did it at a very reasonable price, instead of us having to pay direct-tv 3 times more to do this. He improved our picture by 20%. I was the middle man between Jerry, the crew, and then other 7 people that lived here. They were no complaints from anybody else that lived here and when I was dealing with the crew, I never had to go to Jerry because they were very good. They were able match the shingle colors and we were very happy with the work. They stayed through two Saturdays and Sundays to make sure to get the work done before the bad weather came through. They finished the roofs at noon and the bad weather came in at 4 pm. The work was supposed to be done in September, but there was no week that he would have been able to do the work because we had so much rain.

Estimate was done in good time.

Initial contact was by telephone to arrange for an estimate. The owner, Jerry Wright, does all the estimates himself, which means he can be pretty busy, but was very quick in scheduling the estimate. Arrived on time for the estimate, with a truckload (quite literally) of shingle sample boards. He was more than willing to answer any questions we had about his past work - it really helped that he could point to several roofs on nearby houses that he had replaced within the past 5 years. The estimate was created on the spot, based on the shingle types we were considering. He left us with several different sample boards to allow us time to compare and see them in different light conditions, and even dropped off a couple of additional samples when we didn't really care for any of the originals. When we selected a shingle style, the work was scheduled within 10 days; this was really impressive, as our area had been hit by two major windstorms (Jerry remembers the dates all too well) earlier in the year and the roofing companies were extremely busy all summer. On the scheduled workday, the crew (6 workers) showed up on time (7:30am) and ready to go. The crew chief, Manuel, introduced himself and explained exactly what was going to happen that day. They got to work immediately and were polite, friendly, and very efficient. They were very appreciative of the ice water we were supplying them, as this turned out to be the hottest day of the summer. They were a very experienced and efficient crew, working in pairs and taking necessary breaks for shade and hydration in sequence, so that somebody was always working. The removal was completed in a few hours and the vent work by lunch. They took a very reasonable amount of time for their lunch break and started the shingle installation. The shingle installation was finished around 6pm and they then spent about an hour removing debris from the yard, roof, and gutters. The crew were very detailed in the cleanup operation, checking the flower beds and under the deck for any hidden debris. We were extremely impressed by the entire operation - efficient, professional, friendly. The cleanup was most impressive - we didn't find more than a few handfuls of small bits over the following months. Overall, I would highly recommend Wright Roofing to anyone. One note: Jerry is a bit chatty (in a good way), so you might want to allocate at least an hour for the estimate.

Our shake roof was replaced with 30-year asphalt shingles in August 2012. As of October 2012 we are satisfied with the results. Wright Roofing offered competitive pricing, and timely and professional installation. The crew worked steadily and harmoniously. Cleanup was excellent. The only suggestion is that they should followup with the customer after the job is complete. In our case a simple inspection would have revealed a problem which could have been corrected before the rain came. They had to be called back, and they did fix the problem quickly and to our satisfaction..

They were very accommodating, removed all old materials from the roof, and whatever we asked them to do they would do it with no extra charges. They were also quick to do the job for us. The bid that they gave to us, they stuck with that price.

After the bad wind storms that came through our area in the spring, our roof took a beating and many of our barely 10 year old shingles went flying. I contacted 7 different companies total for estimates to repair the roof or replace the entire thing if required. 1 company never did call back after multiple messages and attempts, 2 of them had to reschedule their appointments or apparently lost our information more than once, which left 4 that actually showed up and provided an estimate as promised (although we did eventually get an estimate from the other 2 for a total of 6 estimates.) Here's the reality of it all, Jerry Wright of Wright Roofing showed up as promised. He was down to Earth, no-nonsense, very competitive with his pricing, and did not want to do a bunch of work that really wasn't required. He knew how insurance company appraisals worked and came up with a good plan to repair the areas that truly needed it and to make it all match and look nice too while trying to work with our real life budget in mind. Since the matching shingles were no longer available, they replaced the shingles at the two ends of the house and the front with a very similar color but a shingle that will withstand the Idaho winds and weather better and be more durable. The rear of the house that sees little sun or wind was left alone because it was fine and no need to replace it. He stated that it would take a week or two to get to our house, but made recommendations to use the old shingles we had recovered from the yard to nail down on top of the tar paper to protect it until they could get here to do the job and said to let them know if it got worse or if we needed something before then. He called after approximately a week and said they had an opening then and wanted to know if we were ok with them doing it the next day, which was great news for us.The crew, which included his brother Jim, was here the next morning as promised with the materials we picked out. They tore the old materials off, replaced everything that needed it with new, cleaned up their mess thoroughly and were done by the end of the day and left me the opened last pack of shingles they used for my own personal use as requested. The roof looks professional and well done. A few days later an invoice showed up for the exact amount as quoted with a self addressed stamped envelope to send payment. The entire operation was very professional and well done. One of the most important parts was you didn't feel like you were dealing with a used cars salesman trying to sale you a bunch of stuff you didn't need and they actually did a good job for a fair price. They have been in business for years and our insurance adjuster was also very comfortable with us using them as a company. In most cases it is well worth your time to get several estimates and compare how they treat you as well as their prices. Cheapest isn't always the best, but a good competitive price usually is. If any roofer or contractor wants you to pay up front for anything make sure they are currently a registered contractor with the Idaho Bureau of Occupational Licenses and check to see if they have any disciplinary complaints against them and why. Also make sure you get lien waivers from them for anything you pay for since the material suppliers can always come back on you and put a lien on your house if the contractor does not pay for the supplies they use on your project. Wright Roofing appears to be an example of a more old school family run and operated business that does things the way they are supposed to be and used to be. Give them a try with several others and you make the final choice, but they are definitely one to put on the list if your in the market for roofing work to be done.

Very fast and efficient work. I ended up with a beautiful roof that has never had any problems and is still going strong 22 years later. When it finally does need to be replaced, Wright Roofing will absolutely be the contractor doing the job for me!

Went well from start to finish. Neighbor had used this company. I liked the way her roof was done, so asked fher if she was pleased with the company. She was. Based on her recommend and the competitive price estimate we made our decision.

I have been doing business with Wright Roofing for 30+ years - literally. I have had them do four roofing jobs and several repair jobs. It had always been quality work and quality service...until...I have a small house with a metal roof that started leaking. Though Wright did not put it on, I went to them to get the repair. I called and explained I was a long time customer and that I needed repairs to my metal roof. Mike (in charge of metal roofing) was indifferent but agreed to come and estimate the repairs. He didn't listen to the itemization of the repairs needed, did a cursory inspection, and blew me off. I called the man who had done repairs on other houses (not metal) and he attempted to intervene for me and get the work done. Four times he committed to bring Mike out to get a clear idea of the repairs needed and four times no one showed or called.

They were prompt and professional. We were out of town for a couple of days, and they were able to start and complete the job before we came back.
