VALLEY OVERHEAD DOOR

I don't know why Angie's lists this supplier as in the last two day's I have tried to contract them they have not returned a web request or a phone call. In the same time I have made contact with the other two suppliers I have contacted them within 15 min of my request. I have just joined Angie's list and so far from what I have seen a membership is not worth paying for.

Provider called back on message from night before first thing the next morning 730am. Was early to appointments and maintained in phone contact to ensure complete satisfaction. Offered multiple options for repair of door as well as replacing door. Beat competitors by $200 plus offered to install brace to allow for door use while door was being ordered. Replacement door became available prior to original quote so called after hours to offer door. Works Saturdays and willing to come out late with out charging huge after hours fee. Was very impressed with Val and his level of professionalism. Will use him again and recommend him to friends and family.

I was stuck at work when my wife called. She was stuck in the garage and couldn't get out because the door would not raise. It would try, but in her words was bending as it tried to raise. Of course I'm stuck at work at it's a Friday. After a quick online search I called Val at Valley Overhead Door. The call initially went to his voice mail, so I hung up thinking they were not open yet (it was just after 8 AM). Almost immediately Val called me back and inquired as to the service we were looking for. I explained to him what my wife had conveyed to me. Val indicated he had some appointments to tend to and would be able to get over to our house early in the afternoon. I gave him our address and my wife's cell phone number and made the appointment with him. Val showed up within a reasonable amount of time he had estimated and quickly determined the problem. He had to make a trip back to his shop to get a replacement part but had the door repaired and functional that evening. The price of the spring was about what I expected to pay from looking at other reviews on this site. Val was also able to straighten out the frame, which I expected would need to be replaced. He told my wife if I wasn't happy with how it looks he could replace it fairly inexpensively. Overall we were very happy with Val's service and would use him again without hesitation.
