Tobin Cleaning & Restoration

Company failed to provide an estimate. An initial visit was made with a promise for an estimate soon to follow. I contacted their representative multiple times following their visit and each time I was promised that an estimate would soon be provided. I never received an estimate and after several weeks I grew tired of trying to give them my business.

The company had a very experienced employee therefore the mess was contained and the whole ordeal went very smoothly.

Tobin was great. Leak was fixed immediately and drywall was patched and painted in a few days. We were very impressed with their service and competence.

Tobin Restoration was very prompt to come and access the damage and get started drying out my carpet, walls etc. At the time I lived alone and so had to rely on them to move all furniture etc which they very willingly did. They pulled up the carpet, replaced the pad,replaced dry wall and painted. It looks as good as new including the carpet which was almost brand new. I was not in need of using the room at the time so was not concerned with getting it done quickly so can't give a review as to promptness. However, it was done in a reasonable amount of time. I was at work when they needed to come so they put a lockbox on the door which worked well for both of us. Everyone I dealt with was very nice and professional. I would defiantly recommend them.

I have never been as pleased with the services of a company as I am with Tobins.. They were punctual for every appointment, very professional and very friendly. They seemed to always be doing the little extra things that I wouldn't have considered, such as making up the bed when moving furniture back into the bedroom. Mark was tremendously helpful in keeping the work going and dealing with the insurance people. As a recent widow, I felt overwhelmed when the flood occurred, but with one call to Tobins the pressure was gone. I would highly recommend this fine company to anyone.

Part 2: After eradicating the mold eating through our wall, Tobin Restoration sent a drywall specialist, Ryan, to complete the work. He was extremely meticulous and fast as well. Though it took several days with all the layers of plaster and texturing, he was unobtrusive, professional, and friendly. His work is of high quality and he worked around our carpeting install and our teenager's personal items without complaint. Perhaps most impressive of the entire process was that the project coordinator, Nate Judy, called twice during the renovation to check the progress and ensure that we were happy with the work. I hope we don't have a situation like this occur again, but I would call Tobin Restoration in a heartbeat if it did.

Part 1: Nate arrived at our home within hours of my call to Tobin to evaluate the damage and give an estimate. He even followed up with an additional call later in the afternoon to clarify his findings. This morning, Kevin removed part of our wall and dealt with the mold and water damage. He invited me to check his progress periodically throughout the service and discuss our options. He trusted my knowledge as a home owner. He was very professional - not judgmental - and he left our wall to air out with helpful instructions. The drywall professionals will return Thursday and I will post part 2 of our saga. So far, very impressed. I am equally delighted at how fast the response was. We had to postpone having our carpet installed, but Tobin sent Kevin out within 24 hours to begin repairs.

I had a pipe burst and when they came in it took awhile to find it but once they did it took 2 weeks to get it repaired and the wall back to be tiled (they did not do it) because they had to re-due the first attempt to plaster the hole they botched it and had to re-due it. But I was willing to look past that because they were nice but the woman that runs the finance was so rude to me. She was just snotty about the payments and treated me like I was somehow lucky that she would work with me.

Carpet hadn't been cleaned professionally for about three years so they were quite dirty. Tobin cleaning was thorough and timeliness was great.

I had them clean the carpets twice. Once when we moved in and once when our renters moved out. The place was a mess from the renters and Tobin did an excellent job of making the carpets look good.

It was quick and professional the basement is better than it was new it looks great.

They had good workmanship. It wasn't excellent but it was good. Of course it was an insurance claim so the price was a little high; I don't know how much it would cost otherwise.
