Description of Work: They came out and worked on our sprinklers.

Description of Work: I requested them to prep our yard before putting in the lawn at a new construction. I had already brought in some dirt and had spread it around as best I could, but there were still low and high spots, general unevenness, and lots of rocks left over from the construction of the house. They like, everyone else we called, said that they would smooth out the dirt for us so that it would be ready for putting in the sprinkler system and grass, and get rid of the rocks (down to a certain size of course). Two guys came to work on it. They were on time and polite. They improved the grading away from the patios and foundation. My biggest complaints are that there are still a large amount of rocks in the yard, and it is not as level as I had hoped. First, I'll say that the native dirt doesn't have a lot of rocks in it. Most of the rocks were because the construction crews just dumped the extra gravel where ever, excavation, and the extra dirt we brought in. So the stuff on top shouldn't have been hard to pick up. However, there are still a couple of areas with a lot of 1-1.5 inch size gravel, and many more rocks everywhere else in our yard. I have found hundreds that are 2-6 inches on the surface, and an occasional 10 lb rock that was poking through the surface. I'm not going around looking for these rocks, but just picking them out every time I see them. As for the planarity of the yard, I hoped after talking with them that they would have spread things out more so that the high and low spots would have evened out each other. I understand that the ground will settle some, but some of it could have been avoided. Overall not very pleased.
