Description of Work: We were having problems with our contact system on multiple computers. It wasn't behaving the way it should. He never really solved that issue for us. He built a computer for us and that computer has been okay, but it was more expensive than we would have paid if we had gone into a store.

Description of Work: I have a Dell laptop computer and use a Verizon MiFi device to connect to the internet. I started having problems with my internet connection. After dealing with Verizon and discovering it was my computer, I started narrowing down my problem to a recent downloaded update. When I reset my computer to a previous date before the download, I was able to connect to the internet. At this point, I was way over my head and knew I needed help. I first called a large company here in town, and the person I spoke to did not seem very interested in helping me. I described the problems I was having, and he seemed clueless about what to do. He told me to bring my computer in. I decided I did not want to deal with him, so I called the number for the FatGeek Computer repair. He answered the phone and he was EXTREMELY helpful over the phone. He actually tried to help me and walk me through options over the phone even though he was not getting paid for his time. He gave me some good ideas to try, and I told him if I was still stuck I would call him back to set up an appointment with him. He was very nice, and very friendly. Turns out... the problem was with my McAfee service. They delivered a download to repair the problem. So I didn't use FatGeek, but I would not hesitate to use him in the future if needed.
