The rating is incomplete! A representative came out, assessed what was needed, and gave an estimate. Backlog, however, is 2-3 weeks at this time of year, so work is pending. So far, I'm quite happy with them.

Initial contact by telephone to arrange for an estimate. Scott (owner) does everything himself - estimates, installation, etc. - and was actually a day early for the estimate, as he found a window of opportunity. Very professional and helpful during the estimate; answered all our questions and had some excellent suggestions regarding screens and heating cables. Estimate was written up on the spot and was quite reasonable. Work was scheduled for one of two days - 8/25 or 8/27 - depending on his workload and how quickly some in-progress jobs were completed (a reasonable arrangement). Scott arrived pretty much on time on 8/27 to drop off his equipment but had a minor crisis on another job, so had to disappear for an hour or so to deal with that issue. We were leaving on vacation late that morning, so we arranged for Scott to perform the work in our absence. This turned out to be no problem at all - he didn't need access to the house interior or garage, only electrical for his power equipment, and left us an invoice for the work after he was finished. He was willing to do everything without any advance payment, despite being and quot;out-of-pocketand quot; for the screens and heating cable, which had to be specially ordered, but we insisted on paying for the special order materials before we left (it only seemed equitable). When we returned from vacation, the work was completed as agreed and everything looked great. Other than the newly installed equipment, there was no evidence at all that anybody had been in the yard - no disturbance to the gardens, no debris, everything exactly where it belonged. Very impressed with the entire experience; would happily recommend him to anyone for gutter work.

Provided a prompt competitive bid, gave good suggestions, and performed the work on time and professionally. I'm pretty picky and had no complaints.

The Design Gutter Systems representative explained various options with us when he came to give us an estimate. He took the time to help us understand and know what prep work we needed to do ahead of time. Since money and timing were a concern for us at this point, he gave us options that allowed us to get the work done that was most needed. Not only did the workman arrive on the dates offered, he arrived on the first date and was ready to begin work at 8 am. As the work progressed, he answered any questions that arose. He completed the work in a timely manner. The front of the house was completed before the first early snowfall. The back of the house will be done in the spring since it involves a heating element to avoid frozen downspouts. The gutter looks beautiful. And is even more appreciated since we do not have to worry about the water or ice causing a hazard at the corner of the driveway. We would highly recommend. Design Gutter Systems.
