Had an appt at my house for an estimate. Never showed up, never called. Tried to contact him after that to see if he was still coming to do an estimate. Never got any response from him.

Good on work that he has done. Should return calls instead of ignoring. He could have had a large job.

I had spent a lot to time and money to prepare the landscape around my property for lawn installation, as well as tree, shrub and plant installation. Truckloads of top soil had been brought in and spread. I had hired a sprinkler contractor to install my irrigation system and the timing was critical because we only had a few days to get it done before the hydroseed contractor arrived to blow in the grass seed. I live in a somewhat remote area on Lake Coeur d' Alene and it's just not easy to reschedule contractors if something goes wrong. Well, my irrigation contractor flaked on me at the last minute, which put me in a real bind. I only come to CDA on short vacation stays, so I had very little time to get this stuff done. By luck I saw a Yochum Landscaping sign on a local road and called Chad to explain my predicament. Chad and his crew were extremely busy with other jobs, but he understood my situation and decided that he was going to do what it took to help me out. He came over to my house that evening and assessed what we needed done. He figured if he put a full crew on the job he could knock it out in a couple of days. I wondered if he could make that happen because the other contractor that flaked on me claimed it would take about a week. In between 2 other major jobs he was working on, he managed to get a full crew over to my house. They had heavy equipment and everything necessary to do the job. In two days, they knocked out the job with incredible speed and professionalism. I made a point to meet each guy on the job and was extremely impressed at how knowledgeable and professional each one of them was. Each of them knew their part and performed in perfect sequence to make everything come together with amazing speed and accuracy. Chad is the owner of the business and he was right in there working with and directing all of his crew. The next day the hydroseed contractor showed up and was able to get the lawn all blown in. Chad got my tit out of a wringer. Anyway, I was so impressed by the work, the professionalism and by what a good guy Chad was. No BS, no time and materials crap, just an honest fair quote that I was happy with and he got the work done. Now it's a year later and I need some additional landscape work done. I called Chad and he's going to be helping me out again. I hope you all have as good of an experience with Chad as I did. Bill Rice

Provider was one of four I call asking to bids on work at my home. Provider responded promptly, showed up at time he committed and provide bid as stated in the time specified. Provider was pleasant to work with and when provider did not get selected he requested feedback so he could get my work in future - a real plus in my opinion. Provider was not selected because of price.

It went better than I expected.
