Bickford Heating & Refrigeration

We called Bickford’s to come and fix a house AC unit. We were told to stay around on that Saturday and he would be by to take a look. I stayed all day, in the heat (90+ degrees) with my 3 young children, he didn’t show up. We tried to call him and left messages every day until Wednesday the following week. He finally called back and said he would be by that day. I let him know I would be at work but the house was unlocked and for him to go ahead and fix it. He came by, tore the unit outside into pieces and left a note that said he needed more parts and would be back Thursday or Friday (Thursday was the next day). He never showed. After the weekend, we called and called. He has still not returned any calls or came back to finish the job. We still have no AC. It has been 2 weeks!!! This is THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL PERSON AND BUSINESS I HAVE EVER CAME ACROSS. We tried having another AC company come to fix it and they said they can’t since he already tore into it. I don’t know how anyone can stay in business treating customers like this.

Excellent! Service and repairs were needed including parts, and coolant. Mr. Bickford was prompt, friendly and professional. Assessed, explained the problem, estimate cost to repair, and got right on it. When completed he told us to watch for, signs that it may go down again. We had another issue with an outlet, he repaired while he was there for the refrigerator. The invoice was Less that was initially estimated. Yes LESS even with the kitchen outlet issue. Followed up with us a few days later on refrigerator just to be sure all was working well. We have used Bickford in the past on home repairs and maintenance, he has always been prompt, professional, and very clear in explaining a problem. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND Bickford Heating and Refrigeration for this end of the valley. IF he tells you an appliance needs replaced, it needs replaced. He does not attempt to take advantage by pushing unnecessary repairs or replacement, his service AND prices are EXCELLENT, he is clean and very thorough. He explains simple maintenance you can do yourself if you wish, to extend the life of your appliance and takes the time to show you, if needed, for understanding.
