The permit took over a month, the job took three months. Lots of promises and excuses. He poured concrete for a walk and driveway (the last major task). The concrete was a mess. It was sloped every which way. One area was sloped so that water would run into my garage when it rains. There were also several low spots where water will collect and freeze. In short, I got more promises and excuses than work out of Beutler construction. He never once kept a commitment. All in all, the project was nothing but frustration and aggravation. In addition, I'll most likely have to hire someone else in a few years to tear out his concrete and redo it. I'll certainly never hire him again and I'd advise others to avoid Beutler Construction."
Description of Work: On January 4, 2007 I signed a contract with Beutler Construction to build a small, 16' x 20' shop on my property. A fairly simple job, a slab floor, four walls, one door, three windows, and a roof with electric hookup. Bill Beutler told me that he could get a building permit (a "walk in") in a day and start immediately. He said the job would take about six weeks.
