Ron C, asked for a heat pump, got estimate for an air conditioner, I was told the furnace was okay; however, it being 19 years old and not compatible with a new heat pump (HVAC) system the logic was not there. In addition, not looking inside the furnace, looking in the attic or in the crawl space left questions about the fuctionality of the system when completed.

A long time since hiring a plumber. Didn't realize it was so expensive. However, we had an emergency, and they responded within an hour. Very impressed. The only reason they didn't get a 5 on quality is we had the same problem days later. May not have been their problem.

The technician came out and it was after 5:00 pm on and extremely hot day. He reviewed the situation and went into the attic at an estimated 140 degrees, quickly located and fixed the problem with our air conditioner. The price for the repair was very reasonable. Our thanks to A-1 and the technician who all but suffered heat stroke so we could have a cooler home.

This gentleman came out and fixed our loose toilet and re-grouted our kitchen sink. He was extremely efficient and knowledgeable. It was a pleasure to meet him. We've had no problems with his repairs. We learned a lot from him. We would hire him again.
