+ 1 moreI have used J and J painting several times and they provide excellent service. Julio knows paint and what will work best for your situation. For instance when I needed a project painted outside in the winter which normally cant be done, he suggested a stain. The stain was so close of a match to the house color that I couldnt even tell. The stain also gave me an entire year to re paint when the weather was better. I really needed the siding protected and thats what we ended up using. Had I painted it with paint many problems could have occured and I would have needed to repaint as soon as the weather improved. Julio gave me the perfect solution!

+ -1 moreI have no complaints about Julio's work. He did all the repair work that needed to be done; then all the prep-work - priming, removing hardware, etc.; then painted two coats of paint on the body, trim, fascia and door (we used four colors in total); then replaced all the hardware, etc.; and then thoroughly cleaned up the area. We also had him stain the railings on the deck and the deck surface. When he had finished the job, we did a walk around the house to pick up any spots he may have missed - we didn't find any but Julio remembered that there was one little spot that needed touching up! He used a Sherwin-Williams Satin Sheen paint, and he gave us advice on the maintenance of the deck to keep it looking good. I have no hesitation in recommending Julio for any exterior paint job. Finally, one of the most important things about Julio is that our 12-year-old Golden-Retriever mixed dog liked him! :D
Description of Work: We contracted Julio to perform some minor repair work and paint the exterior of our 3,600sq ft house (two floors in the front and three floors at the back), which hadn't been painted in 16-years! He worked alone and did an excellent job, and it is obvious that he takes pride in his work! When I asked him for suggestions on trim color etc., he was only happy to oblige, and the result was excellent. He estimated it would take approximately 7-days to complete the job (weather permitting) but unfortunately mother nature didn't cooperate, and the Memorial Day weekend was also thrown into the mix - so it took a little longer. Julio was referred to us by two neighbors (one a repeat customer) whose houses he painted last summer and, while he was working on our house, two other neighbors also asked if he would quote to paint their houses. If this all happens, Julio would have painted five houses in our street alone in the past year - word-of-mouth advertising works great!
