I talked to the office about my problem and got a call from a repair tech (Pablo) within hours He was available He was available any time at my convenience. We set up for next day and he showed up right on time. He had all necessary parts and tools with him. The repair took less than an hour. He was knowledgeable, efficient. and congenial. And the price was right. Less than I expected. Would recommend without reservation.

The garage door really probably needs to be replaced, but Mike adjusted it as well as could be achieved. He was friendly, helpful and honest. Best of all he worked hard to resolve the problems we were having. I could tell he was very experienced and knew what he was doing.

After checking the operation and balance of the door the technician determined one of the panels was bowed causing a bind when closing. He left and indicated he would probably be back the next day with a part. He came back on the second day and installed the bracing part which removed the bind from the door. He also balanced the door. The door is now opening and closing much better than it had. I would definitely use this company again

Perfectly. I called at 8:30 a.m. with a door that would not work, and I had a new one that did by 2p.m. The installer was amazing. I have rarely seen anyone work that fast and that efficiently. Plus, it is QUIET compared to the old one. This is the third time I have used them in 15 years, and they always do a fine job. It is a true family enterprise, and they ALL know the business. Great team.

The service was prompter than we could have hoped for and Lee, the owner, was wonderful to work with and clearly knowledgeable about what we needed and how to get it done. We will be using Ex-Cello for all future services and referring friends to them.

Was able to schedule a Ex-Cello guy to come out, if I remember correctly, the next day. The guy showed up on time. The guy had the garage door repaired and working like new in no time. I was a bit amazed. It was easily more costly to fix my wife's car than the garage door.

They arrived on time and completed the project in the estimated time and stayed on bid estimate. The gentlman was polite, professional, and knowledgeable. Our house was built in 1960, so the garage floor had some challenges, which they were able to solve. We looked at other overhead door companies and found that this company in our opinion provided a better construction door. The only disappointment, was the door color (not white) didn't quite meet our expectations, but that could be due to selecting the color from a very small color sample. Something to keep in mind if you choose not to go with standard white.

The serviceman was very persistent to be sure he got here. Called me back 3 times on the weekend. He was pleasant, efficient, knew his work. He was here, maybe 10 minutes.

This is a family run business. I called on Monday morning after our garage door opener didn't close. I was able to unlatch the door, so we could close it. Not really an emergency. The woman I spoke with offered me a lot of advice about what to check for, so that I could try to fix the problem myself, but I knew that the door probably hadn't been serviced in 20 years, so I was willing to pay for a service call. Mike called me on Tuesday morning, and said the he could meet me around 4:00. He arrived, took a look at the door and adjusted the opener so that it would close. The door had been hard to close, and made a lot of noise. He took a closer look, adjusted the springs, and realized that one of the cables was badly frayed. He replaced both. This door is probably 50 years old. It works great now. Thanks!

I find Mike and Ex-Cello as professional, competent and competitive local providers for garage door repair and sales. They are quick to respond and provide me with all the detail I need in making a decision.

Smoothly. Only one spring was broken, but he recommended we replace both on the basis that the second one was as old as the first and would break soon anyway.

My Experience: On a Saturday, I used the Ex-Cell website to email detailed information about my situation. Mike contacted me on Monday for more details. He provided me with a verbal estimate the next day. Mike said he would pencil me into his schedule to do the work the following Monday. Monday came and went, but Mike didn't show-up or call. On Wednesday, he called and apologized for not contacting me. We setup a time for Friday that week (between 9am-12pm). Mike called me about 9am on Friday morning to say that he had the springs, but not the opener; his supplier did not have the model I wanted in-stock. He recommend a different model (same manufacturer). After some discussion, he said he would check with another supplier in the area. He called back to say that the other supplier had the model that I wanted...same price. He planned to be at my home around 1pm. Mike and his helper (Anthony) came to my home about 1230pm. They removed the old spring and old garage door opener. And they installed the new springs and new garage door opener successfully. I stayed with them while they worked. They kept the work area clean, they were respectful of my property, and they performed quality work. They finished the install about 215pm. They showed me how to operate the opener manually, they programmed the remotes for me, and they gave me the manuals. Mike provided me with a detailed invoice. Mike was friendly and courteous on the phone and in person. Ex-Cello is a small family business, and they are very busy. If you are patient with them, then I think you will be pleased with their quality work. Recommendations for Ex-Cello: Don't overbook your schedule. Make sure you have all materials in-stock before committing to a job. If you can't make an appointment time range, call customers right away and let them know you'll be late (or reschedule for another day). Other Notes: As with any business, I recommend that you get an estimate in writing (good for everyone...in case things change, or people forget...and to avoid misunderstandings). I also obtained estimates from Action Garage Door and All Idaho Door. I contacted Boise Garage Door through their website, but they did not respond. Ex-Cello's estimate was not the most expensive and it was not the cheapest; it was a competitive estimate.

Mike helped us select doors for our garage and did an excellent job of installing them. They look fantastic on our home and work smooth s site. Very professional and helpful!

It was very simple, really: the old door opener quit and needed to be replaced. I called them to make an appointment. Their availability was very good. They were able to schedule it within a couple of days of my call. They showed up on schedule; explained what they were going to do; answered all my questions to my satisfaction; and went to work. It took about two hours to complete the job. Very professional and the new opener is so much better than the previous one (which I installed). Very good work; very professional. I would recommend them to anyone, and would definitely ask them back again.

I have used Ex-Cello for years. They have always provided excellent service and the install went very well. Pablo explained things to me and answered any questions I had. Last month (Aug) the garage door opener would not close the door, it would start down and then reverse and go back up. I phoned Ex-Cello (Mike) and he came out that same afternoon for "no charge" and made an adjustment and everything works as it should. I am VERY PLEASED with this door opener. It is a little more than the regular type of openers but it is really smooth and a very quiet operator.
