After our 19-year-old water heater started to fail, I called my builder (who did a great job building our house) and asked who he was using for plumbing these days. He recommended Dan Ediger, so I called him. He came right over and noticed big holes in the ductwork from the adjacent gas furnace. Before he would install the water heater, he insisted that I get the furnace checked out and the ductwork fixed. There were white deposits on the ductwork from the furnace that indicated CO leaking out. He also strongly recommended that we install CO monitors there in the garage where the furnace and water heater are, as well as in the house. After the furnace was checked out and the ductwork fixed, Ediger came back and installed a new water heater and put it in a drain pan; the old one had no pan and would have leaked all over the plywood base, possibly rotting it. The installer showed me how to drain the heater once a year to keep it from accumulating build-up, which was nice; we had never drained the old one. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone wanting a quality water heater replacement. PS I also bought some CO monitors, a good idea for anyone with gas heating/water heating.
Description of Work: Replaced 75 gal gas water heater and alerted us to a dangerous situation with the exhaust ductwork.

Job took two trips. First trip was for the installation of a drain in the shower and to redo the plumbing in the shower. Second trip was for the installation of the toilet, shower head and arm and valve for shower. Plumbers were always on time, friendly and did quality work. I have used Ediger Plumbing on another occasion and have always been happy with their work.
Description of Work: Installation of shower head, arm, control unit, drain and toilet.
