I was told that a gentleman would be coming out to give me a bid on Thursday morning.When he arrived he wasn't very professional and wasn't really "with it." He asked the same questions literally five times after I had answered the question in detail previously. He seemed confused as to what I was asking to be done and forgot to take measurements of certain parts of the room (like the windows) that I told him twice before that needed to be included. The whole experience lasted about twice as long as it needed to and left me with ZERO confidence that if this guy did the work that it'd be done correctly. It's now 3 days later and I still have not gotten the estimate for the work, further reasoning I would never use this company.

Jay arrived on time and worked fast. Veer happy with the service!

Steve Nail bid the project and managed it. He was incredibly responsive and always willing to call and talk about anything we were concerned about or wanted changed. He had great ideas on how to handle things. We were impressed by the quality of the work -- particularly the texturing work that was done. They matched existing surfaces incredibly well. They also were willing to work within a tight time frame and did the work on time. We had never worked with this company before and chose them based on Angie's list. We were absolutely satisfied and happy with our choice.

They came when expected, were very courteous and were pleasant to talk to.

Painter arrived on time, was knowledgable and friendly, and did an very good job of painting. Thank you so much! There was a small misunderstanding about the bill, and Brilliant Services settled it in a way that made me very happy. Will gladly work with them again!

We contracted for a total remodel of a bathroom in an older home, circa 1950's. Work commenced as planned with a complete tear out of the bathroom with the exception of the bathtub. All work was scheduled out for subcontractors to do their work independently due to the small size of the room. In that regard, there was sometimes a wait for them to come in due to the work they had on their own schedules. However, all of the subs were personable, professional and completed their work as per the contract and in some instances, in addition to the contract, as we made some changes involving electrical and tile work. I'm sure that due to working around the subcontractors schedules, an allowance for completion time needed to be allowed for. This fact needs to be understood and acknowledged since various aspects of remodel work can take more time and/or materials depending on the circumstances involved in the remodel. As a result the project was completed by the projected completion date versus an earlier date as we had hoped. The finished project is excellent in materials and workmanship. Brilliant Services management and personnel were receptive to all issues and concerns we had during the project and we would recommend them highly for any type of remodel work.

I hired them for a dishwasher install and a mailbox install. The plumber was an independent contractor who was punctual and knowledgeable. The mailbox install was a little more of a process as the handyman was initially over an hour late. I nearly cancelled the work altogether, but they made it right and rescheduled for the afternoon. All went well after that, and it took a lot longer than they initially estimated, and it ended up costing a lot more than they quoted. That extent of lateness is not ok when you're taking time off work to make things happen. Their fees seem high to me, and considering they were over an hour late and wasted a lot of my time, not what I am willing to pay again in the future. Because they were over an hour late, they gave me the concrete bag for free (those are $6), and didn't charge me a trip fee to come back ($15 I think). While I appreciate that, it wasn't enough to make me a repeat customer when they messed up my entire day in the middle of a move.

Brilliant came by and in April and quoted the remodel work as well as quoting regular housecleaning. We accepted the remodel bid and went with another provider for housecleaning. They showed up, completed the work and cleaned up after themselves. The work was done in a quality befitting the cost. There were some communication snafus that could be improved with some better internal controls or technology, but nothing that would prevent me from using them in the future. They were helpful with solutions as decision points came up within the work and I was overall quite pleased.

WOW WOW WOW. Jay arrived five minutes early and I explained my gutters had not been cleaned in at least three to four years but I was confident only the rear of the house would be a problem. I explained due to the number of trees surrounding my property that I had some build up in the gutters but did not realize just how compacted the build up had become. Without complaint Jay began working on the gutters and at one point had to disassemble one downspout because it was so impacted with leaves. The awful odor was sickening. Jay just continued on through an incoming rainstorm, completed the job which took two plus hours. Though he was covered in dirt, he thanked me for my business and hoped I would call Brilliant Services again. Absolutely I would call Brilliant again and would demand Jay be assigned to the task. Thank you Brilliant. I'm passing my experience on to everyone.

The room looks amazing! Kirk was very professional and did a beautiful job. He just stayed in the bedroom and got er done! I will certainly hire Kirk again to do other painting projects in our home.

He cleaned all the gutters and spent a lot of time cleaning the clogged downspouts. He repaired one leaky seam and left everything cleaned up. I waited to write this review until after we had rain and that really occurred the last two days. All was excellent!! I would definitely recommend this service.

I couldn't recommend Brilliant Services more. They came through in a pinch. They were upfront and honest, even when what they had to tell me was that the job was more involved than what I had originally thought. They were professional, yet personable and explained everything to me along the way. When I felt anxious about timing and the logistics of the project, they stepped up the pace and/or assured me that it would be done in time and done well.

Our new shower door looks great! The installer Brian had to sent the first door back to the company because he found a couple of small scratches on the frame. He showed them to us and said he didn't want to install a defective door. He ordered a new door and the installation went great. His honesty was very refreshing. We would highly recommend them. We are very happy that we chose Brilliant Services!!!

Overall the remodel was a big success. Anyone who visits comments on how nice the house is. The kitchen and hardwood floors are beautiful. The sub-contractor utilized for all the cabinets was excellent. The painter did an incredible job and some of the neighbors have asked for his name and contact information. Very nice work. The only reason I rated them a B in responsiveness and punctuality is because the remodel took about 2 months longer than expected. Steve and Kris were always professional and my husband and I enjoyed working with them.

Wonderful. This was the only bathroom in our house and they made sure, everyday, that we could use the bathroom to shower. They put up plastic and securely taped it so it wouldn't leak every single day. They even made sure we had a working toilet the entire time they were working. They took out the flooring, the tub, the window, the sink, the toilet. They installed new electrical wiring and new lights in places where we didn't have lights before. They put in a new toilet and sink. They enlarged the window so it would meet code and patched in and painted the siding on the exterior so it would match (you can't even tell work was done there, it looks so good). They installed a new tub and I chose a super complicated tile pattern for the walls - it looks perfect! They also installed a new tile floor and did all the finishing touches. Our bathroom looks so much better than the rest of our house now that I might have to do more remodeling!

Brilliant is Awesome! I bought a 6-plex by the college this past year. They remodeled several bathrooms, fixed pages of small items, installed a ton of new electrical, including new heaters in all units, replaced a few doors, installed a few fans in the bathrooms, unclogged the main drain line (which they had to dig down 10 feet to get to) trimmed all the trees around the house, put in new landscaping.... Cleaned all the carpets, and put a whole new kitchen in one unit. They made the place shine! We were not totally done, and advertised one unit and the entire building filled up in one weekend! They did a great job, and I use them anytime I can! I highly recommend them:)

My wife and I were expecting a baby and needed a door on the bathroom. We chose a pocket door. It is a big job, you have to rip out part of the wall, install new studs, install the door, re-install the drywall, texture, and paint, and trim. There is a lot to do for such a small project. Brilliant did an exceptional job on my home. I would recommend them to anyone that needs something done! First rate service!

I have been using them for a decade. I recommend their services all the time. I have been very impressed with the service level and their motto of doing anything unless it dangerous or illegal. It is really nice to have one place to call for any project!

They were wonderful and I was very happy with the service. They came out the afternoon I called to take pictures of what we needed. When they came back to install the post in cement it took about two days to complete. They were very polite and I have recommended them to others.

They have been wonderful. I have directly worked with Steve Nail, I call him to schedule and he organizes everything for me. I have been very pleased with their work.

The company got back to me immediately even though it was on a weekend. They emailed me and I gave them my phone number and we set up to meet each other that Monday. The supervisor took careful notes, went through the entire house with me as I showed her areas of concern. I mentioned previous housekeeping services and what they had done or not done. In doing so I mentioned that if I had this type of business I would go to one of those special schools that train people to be maids and butlers etc....so I would really know how to take care of a home! Guess what! They have done this and she showed me the certificate. The school is in Portland. I have antiques and special displays etc. I know how to clean homes myself but cannot do this currently. It was just great to have someone know exactly how to be careful and what to look out for and what type of cleaners could not be used and what should be used etc. THAT is what I need. They are not a hurry and run around as fast as they go "group". I will say that they move efficiently. I am retired so I am here the whole time. I just sat down, and they asked me questions as they went along. I had a screen that one of my pets scratched through and they took it and repaired it asap! back in one day.So the price includes the screen that they rescreened for me.I am looking forward to having them back. They are great. Also, I asked if I will have the same gals each time and I will :-) They are bonded/insured. They also have handyman services: and their motto is "anything from the front curb to the back fence as long as it is legal!" They will help with Christmas lights, outside /inside and help put up/take down tree! Yay! PLUS they have been in business for something like 7 years! LOVE them!

I have been using Brilliant Services for some time now so I thought that it was time to write a review. They are my 3rd household cleaning company that I've tried. By far they are the best and most responsive. I had a few areas that to me would be standard in any household cleaning job but they are the only ones that will do them. What I liked about my initial assessment and walk through was that they took thorough notes about things that I specifically wanted to have happen (leave master bathroom door closed when they are finished; leave the laundry room door open to the garage for the dog...) and they always do those things. They've made a list of particulars that I like and that checklist comes with the cleaners each time they visit so that they can check those off when completed, so the cleaning is specific to my house and not just a generic once over. When they have time they do little extra things like changing the foil bottom in my toaster oven and even figured out how to remove the vent to the microwave and cleaned it, something that I haven't been able to do in the 7 years I've lived here. If there is ever any tiny, small thing that was missed I can mention it on the "report" card and it is not missed the next time they are here. They even sweep the outside entry way area of leaves and debris that the wind has brought in. They are very responsive to phone calls, prompt with the service and I've never had any issues that weren't resolved immediately. I have also had them clean my carpets and wash windows as separate services. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Brilliant Services. They stand by their motto of "if it's not dangerous or illegal we will do it" :)
