All projects were well done and the team were very friendly and professional.

It went fine. There was only one guy who came out, did his thing, nothing major.

One worker was excellent. She cleaned the floors and worked at a good clip. The second must have been in training because after spending over an hour slowly wiping in the kitchen I asked her to move on to the bathroom.. it was not cleaned well.

Lousy job by the first 2 women. Called the owner and he and another gal came back and did a much better job. I appreciated his thoroughness the 2nd time. Very nice guy.

They are very professional. They provide a great service.

Great work. The home insurance company demanded that I replace the deck balusters because they were too far apart for code. This is a large three-tier deck containing 100+ balusters. Not only was the insurance company satisfied afterwards, but it actually turned out to be a nice upgrade - the deck looks great, and the work was performed quickly and on time. I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted to do, so I deferred to the expertise of the handyman and he did a great job.

It never happened. I was contacted by the office manager via email. I told her I would be out of town the following week and gave her my wifes contact information. She said she would contact my wife the next business day. That Monday, while I was on the road, I got a call from the technician. I again told him that I was not at home and gave him my wifes contact info. No one ever contacted my wife or myself while I was gone. No follow up communication occurred.

Overall it went really well. Brian was communicative and made sure we got what we needed. We were pretty uncertain on how to do much of anything as this was our first remodel, but he worked with us and spent extra time answering questions/concerns and making everything picture perfect. Having an old house, we ran into issues a few different times (like one of our walls being angled almost 1.5" inches). This specific issue caused us to have to re-evalute our plan for the shower, but we got something in and working. Our bathroom is now one of the best rooms in the house! My only complaint (and really this is super small.) would be that when the dryer was moved it caused a fuse to pop that needed to be reset in the dryer itself (wouldn't heat.) Not sure there was anything they could have done to prevent that, but verifying that it was working correctly after re-setting it up would have been nice. Ended up resetting the fuse myself (had to pull off the back of the dryer -- so many screws -- and pushing a button, pretty easy) but that was at 11pm when I was trying to figure out why my clothes weren't drying and I was leaving for a trip the next morning... Such is life! We look forward to working with Brilliant again on other projects around our house!

Initially we had a 36" door with single pane glass side panel in our entry way. The door used an old (falling apart) mortise lock. Between the not-always-functioning lock and glass window, we had all kinds of problems. We decided we wanted french doors in the front and were looking to replace with (2) 36" panel doors. Brian came by and bid out the project and we accepted the bid, decided on a style of door, and scheduled to have someone come do an initial inspection (actually pulling out the jam to make sure everything would fit.) Sadly, the inspection showed that we only had a 73" opening and for the double doors we need a minimum of 74". Due to the age of the house, the work to be done to gain the extra inch of space was well outside of budget. Brian suggested looking at (2) 32" panels, but I wasn't sure if I wanted the smaller doors. After talking with Brian and playing with a lot of doors, we decided to go with the 32" panel doors. Ordering the doors took a while (I think we signed the order in January and the doors showed up in March), but once they were in, Sean came by and got everything done in the course of a couple days. I was shocked how quickly he was able to get everything roughed in and set up. New door looks great!

The handyman came first and took down the wall between bedroom and bathroom, removed tub, toilet and vanity and hauled everything away. He then put down new plywood on floor. This took 2 days. Then a young man came to do the tile work. It took him a week and a half. I am satisfied with the final work but would request a different tile person in the future. He was always on his phone and most of the time was just standing around. Every time I would go in there he would bark at me. I never saw a level and would have done things differently. He did put in new blue board, a pan on the shower floor and orange waterproof material on the walls. What he didn't do was put mortar on the wall and on the tile. He only put mortar on the back of the tiles. I know I watch too much "This Old House", maybe, but I was concerned about proper waterproofing. He also broke about a fourth of the tiles. When he left at the end of his part he left garbage bags in my living room which I had to get someone to remove and also left all the broken tiles stacked in my front yard. Thankfully the same person who took out the garbage bag also hauled away all the tile debris. I expressed my concerns with Brilliant and the tile guy came back. Instead of doing anything he looked around and accused the handyman of not finishing his job. I told him I was the one who started putting up the towel rack and not the handyman. What I wanted was for him to fix the bad grout on the border tiles. He did only 2 tiles. I know I should have complained but I just wanted the arrogant young man out of my house! After that the handyman came, put in the pocket door, painted everything and put in new baseboards. He cleaned everything up and the job was done. Hallelujah!

This was a $99 big deal purchase. I thought they would fix the gutters a little better; it seemed like he just kind of cleaned the gutters. When I called and asked what they meant by the tune up I wanted to make sure the gutters did not leak, but one side still leaks. I would not use them again but they were okay.

They were EXCELLENT in every single way. They were communicative, right on time, courteous, did NOT try to upsell, and they even cleaned up the mess that came out of the gutters. We will definitely go with these guys again. I don't see how jit could get any better.

Went very smoothly, when ever i had a question they were quick on the call back, Already set for a new project in the spring!

It went great, as did all my many projects that Brilliant Services helped me with. The estimator and the handy persons were knowledgeable, prompt, and professional, and they did a great job. The only reason I wouldn't use the company again is that I have moved out of state and they don't do business in my current locale. :(

Service tech came out right on time and checked and cleaned all the gutters on our home. We have a patio cover with leaves trapped between the patio cover and the overhang of the roof. There is a flashing installed that extends approximately 16" out and with that in place it was impossible for the tech to remove the debris while laying on the steepest part of our roof. I did discuss with the tech possibilities in correcting the problem and he is going to have someone from their company give me a price on removing the flashing to see if that will facilitate removal of the leaves trapped behind the flashing. This is a very poor design. We also have one of the chains that is used as a downspout that I want replaced with a traditional downspout which they also can do. Service tech (Bruce) was very pleasant and professional in the work he performed and with the suggestions he made.

It turned out okay. We weren't totally impressed with their services. There was bathroom grout that was needing to be fixed up that they didn't do anything with. It just cost $149.

Did a great job on everything. There were several people involved in the project, and all were friendly and professional. The job was completed in the time frame agreed upon in the contract. I would definitely use them again.

They cleaned the gutters. Good job. They were supposed to seal the leaks. That was partially successful. Some of the joints still leak. This is a couple of months past now and it is likely the sealer has shrunk in the heat.

The service and the workers were good. They did have to come out the second time because they didn’t do all they were supposed to do in the visit very well. They sent out somebody right away who was higher up within the company with more expertise. They made the repairs very satisfactory. I was happy with it.

They did a great job! Hardly knew they were here they were so quick & quiet. The best part was they cost less than a fourth of the other company that quoted the job. Happy with the service, THRILLED with the price!

Things went well at first. Brian was great with the communication & follow-up. He came out to the house, met with us & did a walk-thru of the kitchen & bath remodeling project. He provided us a cost estimate 2 days later. We were very close to working with him on the project. However, before taking that step, I asked him for some samples of his work as I couldn't find any on his website or on Angie's List. I thought I had this info. already but it was actually for another contractor & not Brilliant Services. I didn't think this was too much to ask for as every remodeling contractor should have this info. available. However, I never heard back from him after that. It's been over a week since then. Not sure if he just didn't have this info., got too busy or what?
