All American Rain Gutter

Once the work was completed I called them back three times for three different issues and one was fixed on the second try. Every time Steve Day would say he would be out, he did not show. We have paid another company to fix his crews errors and asked for reimbursement, Steve said he would send us a check for part of the work, it has been over three weeks and we have not received a check. I would never use them again nor recommend them.

This is an update to my earlier review of Steve and his crew. In the first review, I explained we hired Steve to clean all of the gutters in the gated community and make 184 repairs he discovered. Steve went through some difficult times and our job was not worked for a while. However, when Steve got his difficulties ironed out, he came back and completed all of the tasks for us. The 184 repairs turned out to be more like 15, and he completed all of them. He went out of his way to make all of our residents happy and has been very responsive to our calls. We fully understand his situation in the beginning and today feel strongly that Steve and All American will do a great job for you.

Despite having an Angie's List A+ rating, when I called a couple of days ago (10/26/17), I NEVER received a return phone call. Apparently the job was to small (tough) for them, or maybe they don't need my business, but I know who I WON'T call when it comes time to replace all of the gutters on my home.

This company installed gutters on my house in 2016. Their price was competitive compared to other companies that gave me bids and they were recommended by Joe Prin. I think they did a good job but in actuality I have no way to verify that. However, once the job was done they did not respond to phone calls. I have seen multiple negative reviews since last year. This year I wanted an estimate to repair/replace a section of gutter at a rental. I called half a dozen times over the course of a couple weeks, trying to set up an appointment. The owner kept telling me he would have his secretary set an appointment and would get there. He did set an appointment in the beginning but didn't come. He told me he had to go out of town and forgot. I don't think he ever intended to go. I have not heard from him once I stopped calling. i would suggest finding a different company for your gutter work.

There are two parts to this. On the front end the owner was very responsive, came quickly, provided an estimate to clean and repair and install gutter guards and provided a time frame that could accommodate the start of the painting work. The crew that came was polite, professional, and worked quickly. There was quite a bit of brownish grey matter removed from the gutters. It was cleaned off cement areas but left in the flower and shrubbery beds and white crushed marbles. i did not really notice this at the time. But only later when walking around the house with the painting contractor.. He seemed disappointed that there was so much matter left that in his words " should have been cleaned up.`` He stepped away and said he was going to call the owner of AAG. Do not know the extent of the conversation as the contractor placed the call as he was leaving. Another aspect is the warranty on the installed gutter guard. The owner promised to bring it by. I have several calls and messages into the owner/business. Still do not have it and the work was over two months ago. As much as i can tell the repair, cleaning and installation went well. But based upon the clean up that was not done and the lack of response to the promised warranty considering the pricing I would not use them again nor would I recommend them.

In September 2016, All American provided an estimate to perform gutter and downspout cleaning as well as 184 repairs they identified that needed to be made site wide. We contracted them to perform the work as estimated shortly after receiving the estimate. The cleaning was done last fall and since then we have determined that numerous downspouts were missed and had clogged with all of the debris washed out of the gutters. The repairs were never completed. We contacted All American in March of this year to schedule the work and get the list of 184 repairs they had identified. To date, and after numerous attempts to get All American to complete the contract, they have not returned our calls or text messages. We have no choice but to contract another company to come in an perform the repairs. We will update this review with the results of that audit.

They can a briefly looked at the issues and then disappeared and never responded back.

as far as I know the work was done well, although I cannot get up on the roof to check. They were not as responsive to contacts after I hired them, and even less so later after the work was done. I was concerned that they did not use safety restraints when they were on the roof. If I had known that ahead of time I might have reconsidered my choice. They were knowledgeable and thought of possibilities that I had not considered and other companies had not mentioned. I would hire them again but would first insist on hard copies or PDFs of all documentation. They have two different websites, which is confusing.

It didn't. He wass 1 hour late to appointment (his office is only 2-3 blocks from my house). He was supposed to email a quote to me that evening, but a week later I still have not received it.

The work was done quickly and professionally. We are happy the gutters didn't have to be painted.

I purchased an Angie's List Deal, $99 for 100 ft of gutter cleaning. When I purchased the deal, I contacted the company through Angie's List. After not hearing from the company, I called and left a message with the number provided on the receipt. Once again I did not hear from the company so I contacted Angie's list and was given a cell phone number. I was finally able to speak with someone and was told I needed to schedule an appointment for a bid. (This seemed odd since i already paid) I scheduled an appointment for 10:15 am the following week. They did not arrive at the appointment. I called them twice and left a voice message. I waited for over an hour and they did not show up or call. I still have not heard from this company. UPDATE: The service was ultimately performed. The gutters were clean, but debris was left on the ground below the gutters and our house was splattered with mud.

The gutters look really good. The color match was excellent. Steve suggested a plan for the gutter system that made good sense and was a huge improvement over the way our previous gutters directed the water.

Excellent. Steve, the owner, was super. Very easy to work with. He alerted me to a problem with the roof that needed to be corrected before putting the gutters up, and was completely willing to adjust his installation around the roofing work. After the roof repairs, I was just getting ready to call him, looked out the window, and saw he had just pulled up to my house to check on me! The roof is fixed, the gutters are up, and they look great.

They were professional, fast and I was impressed with their expertise. I highly recommend them. They may cost you a little extra over the competition but they use a heavier gage gutter and the job is done right.

I have a 3150 SF single level home that has lots of linear feet of gutter. I originally contacted All American for just a cleaning, taking advantage of their promo offer to clean 150 feet of gutter for $110. Final bid came in at $450 for the entire job. After reviewing the bid, I asked them about gutter guards and the cost to install. All American quoted a price of $2150, including the cost of cleaning, to install the Leaf Relief system. This is an Alcoa product with a 10 year warranty. There is a lot of chatter on the web regarding the effectiveness of the Leaf Relief system v. others, and I confess I do not know if there is a definitive answer to the question of which system is better. Simple payback for this application = 4.77, about 5 years. All American cleaned the gutters and installed the system in two days. Work was performed with courtesy and professionalism. In summary, the job was delivered as promised. I am rating All American an "A" for the service portion of the job. As to the Leaf Relief system itself, only time will tell if it performs as expected.

Since this was the first time using Angies List I wasn't sure just how the process worked. After filling out the application on-line I contacted Steve At All American Rain Gutter to set up an approximate appointment time as to when He would be available to do the cleanouts. During that process He noticed several of the gutter supports had become loose causing the rain gutters to sag in places. He offered to fix them on the spot as He worked His way down the line. I told Him that if He had the time to please go ahead & that I would be happy to pay Him more than the original charge we had agreed on to do that. Overall i was very happy with the Job he did that day & will ask him to return at His convenience and install gutter covers as well for us. Thank-you Steve Day for a Job Well Done !!! I have tried to submit this review twice already & each time I received a pop-up from your web site that stated "We are sorry, a system error has occurred. We were unable to capture your response. Please try again shortly" The second time it happened I copied & pasted this note on a different e-mail but never did hear back as to if you received it or not ??? Hope this one goes through !!! I bought a deal online to get my gutters cleaned out because there was an awesome deal and in the notes I mentioned that I would like a quote to also redo all the gutters just to see what the cost would be. He emailed me the next day and we set up an appointment for the next week. He came out, was right on time and we walked the house and went over everything from cost or repairs needed to what he would do if it were his own house. He was precise and explained everything in undersatndable terms and gave me a quote within 20 minutes. The rate was great, he had the most colors choices to match my house exactly and he was great with recommendations. He was very professional and the best part was that he had an opening the next day and to boot, he has a lifetime warranty on all of his work, so it put me at ease if anything were to go wrong, I know he would fix it.. They took all of the old gutters and hardware down, hauled them away and installed everything while I was at work. The only gripe I would have, which in very minor is that I originally wanted a gutter cleaning so I assumed that all of the leaves and ice chunks that were in the gutters would be hauled away too, but they were just scattered around the lawn in front and in back, which means I had to do some clean up when I got home. Other than that, I would suggest All American Rain Gutter to family and friends as the price was great and everything got done quickly and the final product looked great.

Our 6000 sq. ft. stucco house needed to be re-painted. Upon further inspection we noticed that our gutters and downspouts needed to be replaced as well, they were leaking and separating from the house and taking them off before the painters started would allow the fascia for be painted also. I checked Angie's List and saw two companies that were very highly rated. I called both, the other company could not come out for a few days and Steve w/ All American Gutter, hearing about our dilemma, made arrangements to come out that very day to remove the gutters and downspouts and haul them away, making it much easer for the painters to address the fascia. When the house was completely painted. Steve and his crew came back and installed the new gutters and downspouts, even adding some additional downspouts, where he thought the roof would drain better. After the first big rain Steve came back out to see if everything was draining properly and make sure we were happy. We were SO pleased that we passed his name on to several neighbors and they are using him as well.

Steve did an excellent job for us! He took the time necessary to go over all of our issues and explain his process. He was very thorough and we are very happy with the quality. We had some problems with flooding in our basement because of the gutters. Steve was great helping us figure out exactly what needed to be done to correct the issues. He also knew the guy we hired to paint the house, Nick Palmer with Natural Born Painters & Remodeling. They were able to coordinated with each other to ensure everything was finished in a timely manner. Throughout this process, Steve was responsive by checking with me about how the painting was going. We will definitely use Natural Born Painters & Remodeling in the future!!

I had really good success with them. They were wonderful. They were professional, on time and the price was good. They were good with color selection.

We had a leak and they came back to repair it so it was good.

Excellent! Very professional, honest and the price was $700 to $1500. Lower than the other 3 estimated I had received from other companys.

Recommended by painter and read others' reviews on Angie's list. Were prompt in giving bid. Weather and holidays caused a couple of minor delays. Very professional and have had no problems so far wiith the quality of the work.
