house cleaning
+ -1 moreI have used Merry Maids for several years. They come every two weeks to clean my house. There is a set fee that is adjustable if I change requirements for a particular cleaning e.g. have them do something extra like clean out my refrigerator. The women (there has only ever been one man in all these years) are always very professional and pleasant. And they are very quick. I have a large house and they are usually finished cleaning in a few hours. There are usually two cleaners but sometimes only one. I have no carpeting in my house so the floors must be vacuumed first and then mopped which takes longer but they still finish quickly. Normally they provide their own cleaning equipment but because of my many allergies I require them to use my vacuum cleaners (HEPA filters) and cleaning products. Because of this they cannot "guarantee" the level of cleanliness they achieve but I am okay with that.

+ -1 moreDescription of Work: Merry Maids come to my home once a month to do limited house cleaning ~ vacuum all carpeting (living room three bedrooms and the carpeted master bath). They also clean the two bathrooms and sanitize the toilets, showers and tubs. I have had their services monthly for almost a year and, for the most part, am pleased with their work. The one time I was disappointed with the job done, the manager offered to have it all redone, which I declined. However, when the next month's cleaning was finished they refused payment (apparently in compensation for my previous month's complaint). I have become acquainted with the manager and she is very professional and handles the franchise with competence. My only problem is they do not come at a set time every month, sometimes having other jobs before mine from time to time. So we just wait til they get there and plan accordingly. I find the price quite reasonable and the individual "maids" to be quite pleasant and eager to please.

+ -1 moreI have been quite satisfied with Merry Maids. They've been performing a monthly clean of my home for about 6 months now. They always show up on time, ask for my opinion before leaving, and rotate the rooms for a "deep" cleaning. If I have concerns about which room they deep clean, they adjust to my concerns. When something was forgotten, I fill out a questionnaire on line after each cleaning, and I get a call back immediately from the supervisor. They have ALWAYS addressed my concerns immediately...whether large or small. Their price is a bit high, but I get the same 2 ladies each time and they have shown me that they care about my business.
Description of Work: Clean all rooms in my home.
