They are a great company. I would recommend him to anyone.

He did not charge anything because he just gave an initial inspection. He said everything looked good but at the time that was all we needed. I was impressed with him and I kept his card. I plan to call him again to do a more thorough inspection.

Carl was very thorough and knowledgeable, and even encouraged us to follow up with him if we had any questions, which of course we did. My husband gathered the notes he had taken and organized the information onto a spreadsheet. Carl very graciously looked it over, made his own comments, and prioritized the problem areas. That was very helpful. and made us very comfortable going forward with our repairs. I would heartily recommend him.

Carl was prompt, energetic, very thorough, pleasant, and took the time to explain his findings directly, and then wrote up his findings in a comprehensive report which was completed the same day. He encouraged us to give him a call if we had any questions & we took him up on it a few days later -- he answered all of our questions & explained the implications of the major and minor things needing repair. A very helpful person to work with during a stressful time. We subsequently called a pest inspector in to quote work on the house & the pest inspector commented that Carl/HomeVue was especially thorough and diligent.

My wife and I were very pleased with the service. The inspector, Carl Henley, found a number of items that had not been identified by the Seller's Home Inspection including one serious item that ultimately allowed us to negotiate a significant price reduction with the seller. He arrived early. We were present during the inspection. Carl pointed out and explained his findings as he went along which we found very informative. He even had a spare crawl-space suit and I was able to go under the house with him which was of great help in understanding some of the observations. The written report was well presented with lots of photographs. He suggested that we call if we had any further questions. We took him up on this offer a few days later. He was easy to get hold off and had many useful suggestions about what further investigation to carry out and helpful, honest advice. We would wholeheartedly recommend him to others.
