+ -1 moreCalled to have the sensors cleaned on my gas furnace because it would turn off before reaching full temperature. After about 10 minutes with my furnace the technician told me that my heat exchanger was cracked but when I asked to see it he wouldn't show me the crack. He turned off my gas and refused to turn it back on when I told him I wouldn't pay him $1,800 for a new York furnace. Then he tried to charge me $40 for the service call. When I protested he stormed out. Later I called Advanced Heating and Cooling and they confirmed that I do not have a crack in my heat exchanger. Stay away from Dowdy Heating and Air Conditioning call Advanced instead.
