+ -1 moreBuilder doesn't seem to stand behind their subcontractors. We have had 2 instances where something gone wrong and Beachwood refuses to take responsibility regardless of our warranty. It all started when we'd only lived in the house 5 months. We came home from work to find a pipe underneath the house had broken. We couldn't get hold of anyone at Beachwood so we called a disaster cleanup company to get the water out of the crawl space. After 20 hours of no water, Beachwood finally sent out their plumber (we were NOT given a list of subcontractors at closing). The plumber determined the problem was with a joint and placed blame on the manufacturer. In the meantime, the disaster cleanup company was demanding payment. Neither Beachwood or their plumber claimed responsibility. We are out the money. Now there is an issue with a carpet patch that was done prior to our move in. The patch is coming up and we are told it's our fault or that of our dogs. Do NOT buy a Beachwood home.
Description of Work: Beachwood builders built our 1600 square foot home in Meridian, Idaho. The home was completed before we purchased. It was not a custom home.
