+ -1 moreThe entire process went very well. Alan and his son are a good team. They communicate clearly, they work hard, and they create a beautiful end product. We very much appreciated the hands-on work of Alan as the owner and being at the site daily and having a good dialogue about the progress and any changes necessary. They work on one project at a time...start to finish...so you have their full attention and effort. Alan also does a great job of creating a vision for what is good for our property, not someone else's or some canned project theme. He takes into account the topography, the view, the existing plants/trees/rocks/sprinklers, and the owners personal thoughts and desires and meshes them all together to achieve a great end product. Alan knows the trees and plants and has very good suggestions for the Treasure Valley climate, what does well, and what is low maintenance. We highly recommend Art of the Earth and Alan as the owner. You will not be disappointed with the process or the end product.
Description of Work: Landscape design and implementation for 2 areas of our acreage. Included new dirt & shaping, trees, plants, water fountain and stream, crushed micro mix bed cover, and large boulders. We have a large pond area that included all landscaping work, boulders, and water fountain/stream with plants/trees. They also finished the front elevation of our house and circle drive with boulders, add'l dirt and shaping, trees/plants. Relocation or addition of sprinklers as needed. It was a three week project.

+ -1 moreWork started on time and was completed as scheduled. Clean-up of area was completed. Alan and his team were very polite and worked hard. It was very apparent that they love their work We are confident that Alan will respond to our concerns and questions. Good job Art of the Earth!
Description of Work: Alan designed the project. Graded area for landscape bricks. Installed 300 sqft patio with water feature, plantings with drip systen and lighting. Removed existing privacy fence and replaced with quality fence to match dwelling siding. Timely response to follow-up(s) on transition steps and lighting problem due to wet connections. Would strongly recommend. Have already given referral. Not the cheapest but is the best.
