Magic Carpet Services

The gentleman providing the service showed up on time and worked efficiently. He was quite chatty and made multiple comments about possible odors, which I was confused about since I didn't smell anything (although the doors had been left open during the time of the work). After closing up the house and turning the heat back on, I left for a few hours. When I returned, the house smelled like wet dog (we have two dogs). I turned the heat up a little further and left for a couple more hours. When we got back, I could still smell it and was a little frustrated (since the dog smell was one thing I was trying to get rid of). I immediately called the carpet cleaners and they sent the service man over that evening. He made a few comments about why there might be a lingering scent (all of which were my fault) but re-cleaned the carpet at no additional charge and applied some kind of scent neutralizer, which was great. Overall, the service provided seemed good and they fixed the problem quickly, although there were a few moments of irritation with the service guy. I haven't used any other carpet cleaning service in Coeur d'Alene, so I don't have a basis for comparison, but in the future I'll probably shop around a little just to see what other services/prices are available.

Arrived before 8:00, did a walk through to check out stains and high traffic areas. Locked up the house after he left. When I cam home at lunch, the upstairs and staircase were already dry. Down stairs took a little longer but was dry by about 7:00 p.m. Looked fantastic.
