Advanced Blinds & Awnings

Excellent work. We're already having Nick back to help us again.

Based on recommendations from Angie's List we contacted Advanced Blinds and awnings for window treatment. In the end we did not use their services as they were way out of our budget. Had the sales rep asked what our budget was from the very first phone call I could have prevented him from wasting his and mine time. He spent 2 hours at my house showing me fabric swatches and making suggestions . When we discussed pricing and I saw that their price was $6000 more than what I could afford, there was no way to come even close to our budget. That question should have been raised at the first phone call about setting up an appointment. The salesman certainly was knowledgeable and made great suggestions.

Nick Hatcher, proprietor, is incredibly polite, professional, and punctual. A very good communicator and very pleasant to have in the home. I would definintely call them for our next job.

The service turned really well. They came out in February and did not finish up till March because there were some problems with the company system. I spent around $3,000 including the $150 Big Deal. They did a very good job and everything turned out excellent.

I was very pleased with them. They delivered when they said they would. The fellow that installed the window coverings was very professional, very friendly and helpful. We have been pleased with the results. We had one set of window coverings that were installed when the house was new, seven years ago, by this company that we were having some problems with. The fellow got up on a ladder and fixed what was going wrong at no charge, very willingly and cheerfully. So, we were pretty impressed with that. I think their price is competitive. I think they are not the cheapest and they are not the most expensive. The owner kind of told me that they won’t be the cheapest people out there but they are far from the most expensive and they kind of let their good service that they give us hopefully make us a repeat customer. I have been very pleased that the window coverings look very nice and work exactly the way I want them to work, so I have no complaints.

Nick Hatcher (owner) was extremely easy to work with. He took measurements on windows that needed blinds as we discussed what I had envisioned and my price range. I already knew that I wanted light filtering blinds because I like a bright house even on wintery days when blinds might be down to keep in heat. I chose a pale beige color for all windows. In the master bedroom I purchased black out blinds for late sleeping when the sun rises early in the sky. I also chose blinds that can open from both top and bottom. Great privacy when down from the top and yet you are enjoying a view!! 2 weeks later my blinds were installed and I was absolutely amazed at the exact fit of these blinds!! Installation included hauling away old blinds and hardware as well as covering any existing holes in wall from old hardware. I am VERY pleased with the quality of the product and installation. I would definitely use Advanced Window Fashions again!!

They were excellent. The interaction was very good. They were affordable, professional and most importantly on time. I liked their professionalism and their price. And again they were real affordable. I would say they were professional in demeanor and excellent in their service.
