Went very well. The pergola was a kit, but still a significant construction. Vision Built completed it in one day, after the concrete footings had been previously prepared and built.

The workers who came out were wonderful but we did have a problem with the electrician who did not finish the project. He was subcontracted. Josh and his crew were on top of it and cleaned up after themselves.

The workmanship was top notch and on time. Josh had a lot of good ideas and made sure the job was completed to my satisfaction. This was a $25,000 job and well worth it, the result still makes me smile.
Description of Work: Insulate and apply pine ceiling to an A Frame cabin. Finished a basement main room with pine and paneling I provided. Build a floor and brick wall for a corner wood stove in that cabin.

The build quality from Vision Built Construction has left much to be desired. I’ve had several remodel project completed from a variety of other skilled local contractors within the last few years, only to find Vision Built to be some of the worst quality work I have encountered. I would consider hiring Vision Built for very simple construction or remodel work on low value, projects such as a porch, or garage additions, sheetrock repairs, low cost siding jobs, etc. Would NEVER hire Vision Built for a high cost/ high value project of any complexity, or projects where a high degree of trade skill is required.

We are sorry to hear that your project did not meet your expectations, however based off the contract we completed everything to your specifications. Within our company our jobs start off at a minimum of $25,000.00, however we worked with you to make sure you stayed below $20,000.00. Your contracted amount was $19,433.05 (this is after the state tax fee of 8.9% totaling $1,588.19). Within your contract that you signed (on May 24th, 2019) you were given a full scope of work including the cost for labor and materials. If you had spoken to us within a timely manner about your unhappiness with the quality of our work, we of course would have addressed it and worked with you to rectify any areas that you felt did not meet your expectations. Unfortunately, this project was completed in August of 2019 and you never reached out to us again within the last year and a half, so we were unable to do so.
