R C WORST CO

This company is a joke and I would never hire them again. First of all the service people are arrogant and rude and secondly it took them over a week just to get an invoice!!! Very unprofessional! We still have no idea how much our service cost... It is also impossible to get anyone to return a phone call.

In March our water pressure tank stopped working (Amtrol INC). I keep all invoices and warranties so I looked it up and noted that we were only 2 years and 10 months into our 3 year warranty (that doesn't happen often). I looked on their web site and noted the service providers for warranty work (all inclusive). We picked R.C. Worst as they had installed it originally. We called and made an appointment, being the slow part of the year they were able to come out later in the day. That's when the fun started. Our tank is located in our basement and my husband, who stayed home from work for this, guided the man down. As the man was working on it he broke a pipe. Big mess and didn't offer to help clean up. He also didn't have pipe, glue, fittings etc to repair the broken one. My husband did have the necessary pieces in our garage. He gave them to the worker AND helped properly fix the pipe. When the worker was done he handed my husband a bill for $414.44. To say we were shocked is an understatement. He stated (also reiterated by his boss when we called) that the tank was warranted but not the work. We paid the bill, but were very upset. On closer inspection we noticed that the worker actually charged us for parts to fix the pipe. The parts WE GAVE HIM TO USE!!!!!! If we'd had known this we could have bought a tank for $200 and installed it ourselves. Beware of R.C. Worst co. their name says it all..... they're the WORST
