Description of Work: They put a 3 1/2 ton heater when I needed a 2 ton heater. It was suppose to be a Colman heater but ended up being and off brand that no one has heard of. And they charged $6000.00 instead of $2500 the coleman would have charged me. I got 3 other bids from other contractors the told me for that price I could have gotten an air conditioner and a heat pump. The heat pump uses 40 cents an hour but the furnace uses $1.40 an hour. I am very p*****.

Dear Mr. [Member Name Removed]- Your system is sized correctly. In fact there are only two sizes specified for your mobile home and the unit we installed for you accommodates both. The manufacturer’s wiring schematic that was already present dictates that it be wired, and thus sized, as a 3-ton unit. For us to size it differently would mean to go outside specifications. We have made several calls to your residence on this topic and are confident you have the right size of equipment. Anyone giving you contrary information is ill-informed. Further, as part of our due diligence, and at our request, your system was inspected by the City Of Eagle and it passed that inspection. There has been some consolidating & shifting in the past several years with regard to HVAC equipment manufacturers and this has had impact on how these units, many manufactured on the same assembly line, are tagged with different brand names. Your system, a Revolve, is manufactured by Coleman (which is manufactured currently by York) and was to be Coleman’s mobile home brand; it has the exact same model numbers, warranties & etc. as a Coleman branded unit. In fact, if you were to plug in the model number of your unit in to an internet browser “Coleman/Revolve” with come up as the search return. You paid $4200 for your electric unit with 15KW electric heat strips with 10 year parts guarantee and 1 year labor warrantee, plus a new evaporator coil. You asked for, and we provided to you, an $1800 rebate on your system. On 7/29/2015 we mailed to you a check in the amount of $1800 with check number 5683 and our records show this check has cleared your bank. We are sorry you are unhappy now, but we will continue to support your purchase to the best of our ability.

Description of Work: Replaced a 12 year old water heater and installed a water softener,while we were just moving in. Had furnace tune up from Amazon Local deal.Initial technician was prompt,I felt the tune up was not worth the money. There was a pushy sale for a capacitor,which was working before the tune up. Not wanting to deal with the hastle later,I approved the repair. During the visit I inquired about a water heater and water softener. His original quote was ridiculous, got the "let me make a call".Came back and knocked a few hundred of. I approved the install. Installers were prompt and did a excellent installation job. I should have obtained a detailed description of what would be installed;water heater and softener are not worth the discounted price. Check on what you're getting;price it out.

Dear Mr. [Member Name Removed]; (I give you an “F” as a customer for the following reasons): You were provided a thorough 21 point safety and efficiency evaluation tune-up of your furnace (in writing) on November 25th, 2014. You invited us back to your home the following day November 26th to provide you an estimate for a new water heater and water softening system. You accepted our proposal and the install occurred November 28th, 2014. You had ample time to cancel your agreement to install. As per our agreement we installed a 50 gas Bradford White water heater with all code required safety upgrades including, new flue connection, water expansion tank, water safety for drain pan, Pressure and temperature drain relief to exterior of the structure, and new water plumbing connections. Warranty included six year tank, six year parts, and one year labor warranty. We installed a SuperPure whole house water softening system with state health approved water supply connections and discharge drain. Warranty included five year parts and one year labor warranty. We provided financing at your request for low monthly payments. In fact, we bought the points down to secure you a very fair interest rate. The installation of both the water heater and water softener were state permitted, inspected, and approved for proper installation and safety operations for your home. The price you paid is very reasonable and competitive. Our records do not reflect any concerns with the operation of either system. In fact, you used our services again April 9th, 2015 for a precision tune on your air conditioning system. Five months after the installation of your new water heater and water softener. Description of Work: I can't remember exactly when my furnace and air conditioner were serviced, or what it cost; probably late May or June 2015; the cost was reasonable. They recommended a new air conditioner. I got a second opinion from another company, which resulted in a small repair which has had the air conditioner running better than it ever has before. So of course I am giving that company my business. I would like to add that I have no other problem with Right Now. They did their best.

Description of Work: About 8 years ago Right now replaced my mother n law's compressor. About 2years ago they came out for a check on the furnace. They advised her she needed a new furnace. She bought a new unit. Now her air conditioning was not cooling. We called another company. The evaporator had 3 leaks at the seams Right now had made. No Freon in the system. They never replaced the evaporator and filled it with the wrong kind of Freon. It also was missing the correct valve. The thermostat was sub par. My mother n law is 90 years old and very hard of hearing. I can't help but wonder if this was a case of elder abuse.

I am responding to your concerns regarding Ms. [Member name removed] located on Hwy 20/26 in Nampa. Right Now Heating and Air Conditioning installed a new outdoor heat pump condenser Model GSZ13036 Serial #1303009524 in May of 2013 and an electric furnace in April of 2007. Model number ARUF364216 Air Handler with coil. Serial #0702123880. (Attached) I have provided the distributor invoice which identifies the air handler with coil. This particular model of air handler is a one piece cabinet which has a blower compartment in one half of the section of the cabinet and a factory installed evaporator coil in the other half of the cabinet. It would be suggested that the Technician you had on site was mistaken suggesting that the evaporator coil was not replaced. You were informed that the quality of the connections made during installation is why you lost refrigerant. There are two types of connections made on these systems. First is a threaded connection which uses a Teflon seal and second is a torch weld connection. This system operates under a minimum of 200 pounds of pressure per square inch. Any leak derived from either connection, due to installation practices, would be recognizable the first season of operation due to loss of refrigerant. You were informed that the wrong refrigerant was used. There are two types of refrigerant currently approved for residential systems. The two types of refrigerant are not compatible in operation and will not allow a system to adequately function in the air conditioning mode. It would have been immediately apparent if the wrong refrigerant had been used. We have no record of any concerns being communicated to us with the operation of the system since the installation date of May 2013. You were informed that a “sub-par” thermostat had been used. I’m not certain what this references. All thermostats today are required to meet regulatory standards. We use name brand thermostats that are widely sold throughout the United States. During both installations we registered for a State of Idaho mechanical permit and inspection. Our system installation was inspected by a State official for proper installation practices. You have questioned “is this another example of taking advantage of the elderly.” That would have to be a discussion you would have to have with the other company you hired. I am sorry you have had such an unpleasant experience. Right Now Heating and Air Conditioning followed all the proper procedures for installing first the furnace and later the outdoor air conditioner. We stand behind our work and our reputation is important to us. We are certainly available to provide you an accurate evaluation of your system and at no obligation to you. For me, Right Now was really very good. I need them to come out for an emergency, a leaking hot water heater, at ten o'clock at night and they did not charge me a night charge. They stopped my hot water heater from leaking until I could choose one, and then they installed it when I was ready. They were very nice and I remembered to pick them because of their Breast Awareness campaign. The price wasn't cheap, but their service and quality more than made up for it.
Description of Work: The Right Now company helped me through a difficult time I had with a leaking hot water heater and they ultimately replaced it.

They were very prompt for their appointment. They were very careful of the house and the equipment. They explained everything to me and it was not an easy task. It’s hard for me to tell about the quality since I haven’t been through the winter yet with my new furnace; however, it’s fine so far. I think their price was reasonable. Their responsiveness and punctuality were both excellent. Their professionalism was good. I would use their services in the future too.

They were the lowest price of any of the estimates that I'd received. They came right out and fixed the problem. They were also very polite. They did exactly what they said they'd do. I've never been more impressed with a company. They also fixed a problem with my furnace for free that will save me money this winter. They were just right on.

I was pleased with the installation of the furnace and heat pump. However, when the sales person had been out to give me an estimate we had discussed where the vents would be located. We even did a layout of the house showing where the vents were to go. When I came home from work, four of the vents were not placed where I had wanted them. The installers said they received no drawing and/or instruction from the office and installed the vents where they thought they should go. They would not place extra vents where I had indicated I wanted vents to go. The overall work was good but the lack of communication between the sales person and the installers is not good. I would recommend the work again but would advise the homeowner to make sure that the installers know exactly where each vent is to go.
Description of Work: Right Now installed a new furnace, duct work, vents and heat pump to my residence. My home had ceiling cable heat prior to this so an electrical contractor also had to be hired to disable that and install new wiring for the furnace and heat pump.
