Brown & Sons

Roy Lujan, of Brown and Sons, is a smooth operator. He talks so good and makes you feel like you are going to get the best service available to man-kind. Then he never completely follows through with the service; just kind of strings you along. After while he quits calling, emailing or texting and you are stuck with an half done job and Mr Smooth is nowhere to be found. I hear he does not pay his sub-contractors either. He took $14,000 of our money, did not complete the project and now we find that the work he did do will not meet Code. So, it has to be done all over again. I hate it when people use the "Jesus Fish" to market their shoddy services. His last name is Lujan and his father in law is Don Brown. His wife is Joy Brown Lujan. BEWARE...he will probably try to start a new business and rip off more people. We contacted the BBB but Brown and Sons never even bothered to respond to our complaint.

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!!!! If I could give this company 0 stars I would because that is obviously the amount they care about their customers. My grandma who is recently a widow and is almost 70 had a leak in her skylight in her home, so she called Brown & Son's expecting to get this resolved before it rained again. Roy is the one who came to the house and assured her this can be done that he would need a $300 check to order the skylight and would be back within 2.5 weeks to install it. That's totally reasonable with having to order the light and wait to get it in then schedule an install, no problem. Roy went ahead and cashed the check the next day on September 7th, 2016. 2.5 weeks roll by and no communication from Roy after my grandma, myself, and my mother have called this company I don't know how many times and receive their voicemail each time, which is usually full because they are obviously not returning anyone's calls, no call was returned. My aunt then is able to find Roy's cell number this last week and my grandma and my aunt text Roy and he said he is sorry he will be out at my grandma's first thing Monday (October 17th, 2016 almost 6 weeks after cashing the check) surprise, surprise, he doesn't show up again, hasn't called or answered my grandmas calls or text messages when at this point all she wants is her money back so she can find someone who is reliable and honest to complete this job. Where do we go from here with still a leaking skylight and out the $300? I would NEVER do work with this business or these people. and Roy claims to be a "pastor"...no decent human being let alone a pastor would do this to someone, especially an elderly women who just recently lost her husband. I am disgusted! You should be ashamed of yourself! We will be contacting the BBB
