Description of Work: Scheduled 2 times to come and give estimate for laundry room cabinets. Cancelled both times and has not contacted me to reschedule.

+ -1 moreOverall, the quality of the product, the installer, and installation, and the timeliness was very good. They seemed to care very much that we get what we wanted. Poor communication and response was the issue, but we wonder if they had taken on too much work, or perhaps the planner/developer was new. I would refer friends and family to this company, just with the caution that you need to be on top of things and be willing to make the call to check in on progress.
Description of Work: The company provided a designer/planner for new cabinetry in our kitchen in our home that is about 30 yrs old. The original planner was excellent and we had almost completed the planning when she left the company and we were notified by e-mail that another individual would be taking over. We had to finalize the stain and the hardware. The company produced a sample with the stain, but not the glaze we had asked for. They then did the glaze and asked for our confirmation on the finished look. We didn't like it, so we went back to just the stain and absolutely love it. It took the planner prodding to get us final estimates, but it was finally completed and we signed the deal, paying 1/2 the cost up front. Delivery day, I asked the deliverers to contact me as we were in the midst of having our wood floors refinished and we were out of the home some to avoid the smell. They never called me and so I was not there to receive the delivery. My garage was open for the floor finishers, so they just left them in the garage. Day of installation, a different installer showed up, a contractor, but he did an excellent job and would hire him again. One of the pieces ordered for the built in china cabinet was not finished appropriately, so it could not be installed and it would have to be remanufactured. We attempted to contact the planner/developer that we had worked with several times, but he was slow to respond. We waited for over a month for that final piece, and then they billed us wrong for it.

+ -1 moreThey made the cabinet from scratch. They came out and measured. Then they gave us design ideas. They did a good job. We're pretty happy with it. They're expensive though. We were having so much work done on our house, and scheduling it was kind of tricky. The man that came up and designed it for us said he'll put us in for Friday. Then someone called from the office, and said it wouldn't work. We said it was scheduled weeks in advance. She said it can't be done. He made it happen on the day it was supposed to happen. He was wonderful, but she was unprofessional.
Description of Work: They made a cabinet for the entertainment center in our bathroom.

+ 0 moreIt was great. The guy I worked with was Justin Robinson and he was able to help with the design. He came out several times to measure and give ideas. He made himself available and the end product is beautiful. I would definitely use them again.
Description of Work: I used Western Idaho Cabinets to design, manufacture and install an entertainment wall and a wood mantel for our fireplace.
