Description of Work: My heater kept cycling off and error codes were continuously displayed and it kept getting colder and colder in my house. I had to sleep with three quilts and a heating pad. I am a paraplegic so getting too cold can be very dangerous for me. I called at 3:30 PM on Friday December 23 thinking I would have to wait until Monday to have someone fix it because of the late hour and them closing at 5 PM and being two days before Christmas. They had someone at my house within an hour and he stayed for an hour and 15 minutes and went all through my heater, blew out the dust, took out the motor blew out so much soot and dust that it looked like the fan was on fire because all the dust and soot billowing out. He gave me recommendations of how to make my furnace run better and what to set the thermostat at as I have no clue about those things. He was patient with my questions and was so thorough he actually crawled inside my heater and was looking for cracks because the color of the flame was concerning him that their might be a crack somewhere and that it could be releasing CO2 into the air. He did not charge me for this he simply wanted to put his own mind at ease. I thought this was awesome and I very much appreciated him going the extra mile. He had my furnace torn apart and put back together like a NASCAR raceteam. He also asked first if I would like him to install some new furnace filters as I physically am unable to change them and install them myself and I said yes. With all that, the time, the work, the filters he only charged me $80.00. I was sick to my stomach waiting for the estimate because I thought surely it was going to be 3 to 500 dollars for as much time as he had taken and all the work that he did. I about fell out of my wheelchair when he said $80.00, I said is that the total price or are you still adding, he said no that is the total price. I was so happy. I have not come across a service thechnician or a company that has not taken advantage of me and my naivete for so long. I did not think there were any companies left that still cared about doing great work at a fair price. They have a lifelong customer with me now and I had never used them before but now I will use nobody else. I was in desperate need and for them to be so professional and then to charge me so little even after taking so much time. They close at 5 and the guy never left my house until 5:45. He made sure he did as much as he could do on his end and made sure I was left with heat. I am in awe and I think whatever the highest rating there is for Angies List is not high enough I would like to go well above that and rate them even higher. I could not be more pleased, shocked and surpised by the whole experience. To have them respond so fast. I never told them I was in a wheelchair when I called so it wasn't a pity thing I just said my heater was acting up and needed servicing and they were on top of it so fast it made my head spin. I just did not realize there were still good quality businesses like this out there. This is how it was in my parents' day I thought those days were long gone but apparently someone still has some values and integrity in this world. What a wonderful thing to see, I am almost happy that my heater broke down just so I could find all this out and find hope again that the fabric of society is not totally declining.
