Description of Work: They helped winterize and close our pool. I should mention that when we opened the pool this spring we had trouble getting it cleaned and balanced. Twin Dolphin actually GAVE us some chemicals to help offset the costs of getting things lined out. They really care about their customers

+ -1 moreThe guys answering the phone were nice but very curt, like they wanted to get off the phone ASAP. I had them come out a couple times to diagnose why my spa wasn't heating, once to install the pump, once to fix a leak they created while replacing the pump, and another time to follow up with some noise the pump was making. Out of all of those visits I think they managed to come out when they said they would only 1 time! I always asked them to call me after they came out to let me know what they found. Again, they managed to call me back only once. I had to call them every other time to find out what was going on. In fact, when they replaced my pump I didn't even know it until I went out a few days later to check on the spa and found that it was working - they never even called me to let me know. The work appears to be ok but customer service could use some improvement.
Description of Work: They tried to diagnose why my spa wasn't heating. I later figured out on my own that my pump wasn't kicking on when the heater turned on. They replaced the pump.

+ -1 moreWe purchased our home in May of 2012 but did't fill the pool until July. It is an extremely large pool and I wish I had done more research before opening the pool as we discovered it was a salt water pool. We live in the country and around several acres of farm land so it makes it challenging to keep the algae under control. We had someone helping us, but he was at a loss at how to fix it as well. We spent several hundreds of dollars on various chemicals to try and fix our pool, but since opening it in July we haven't seen the main drain in the deep end (10 feet deep) because it was either cloudy or green. To complicate things our fliter and pump went out and had to be repaired. Don at Twin Dolphin Pool was wonderfully helpful. I had read 4 books about pools and saltwater pools, and had become so confused about what to do, I just wanted my pool fixed in time for my party. It ended up being a simple fix, and a few things that I needed. I can see a nail head in the bottom of the deep en of my pool now thanks to Don. Just wish I would have found him earlier as it is pretty much the end of swim season here in Idaho.
Description of Work: I took a water sample in and he helped get the proper chemicals to clear our cloudy/green pool in less then 4 days for a party. We have a 41,000 gallon pool.

+ -1 moreOkay. I don't want to retype the above. Nor do I have the option of cut and paste so sorry about that, but please refer to previous statements. Thanks This guy at Twin Dolphin was so awesome!
Description of Work: I was given the chore of taking care of my daughters' pool while the family went on vacation. Unfortunately, the pool had algea which, in the heat, was rapidly turning green. I went to another pool and spa business in the area and after an anayisis of the pool water I was given a print-out of chemicals needed to resolve the issues to the tune of $520.00. Not only that, but the womans attitude was atrocious! She was visibly angry with me because I couldn't answer some of her questions regarding my daughters pool (size, amount of water in the pool, how old, on and on) even tho I explained several times that my daughter just bought the house, and it wasn't my pool. I went to Twin Dolphin and after their analysis paid $136.00. In three days the pool was clear and tested (2x's) "perfect". The pool is still crystal clear and tests show no more algae. The man that helped me was very confident, patient, and knowledgable. He originally only sold me what was needed, then after the next test gave me one more bottle which brought everything to normal. The total cost does include a broom needed to scrape the pool. I cannot say enough praise for this man and his company. It wasn't just the enormous savings, but his whole attitude was just great. This company really deserves its' "A" rating.
