Top Of The Stack

The work was spread out over several days due to weather interruptions, but I appreciated they didn't push to finish anything unless the temperature/weather was ideal to do the job properly. They even came back immediately to tarp their newly finished work when a sudden rainburst came through. My only complaints would be that I was surprised they didn't recommend the caps until I asked about them, (which I was only lucky someone else had mentioned to me), and with small kids at home I wasn't always sure exactly when they'd show up and worried about disrupting nap times. They were very polite, left things tidy each time they came, and gave us a bid almost 5X less than one of the bigger outfits doing chimneys in town. Nick was also timely about returning my calls, which is more than I can say for a couple others I reached out to.

They need to come back and repair chimney flume with grinder.

We called in a panic because the stench was awful. They came within an hour of the call, cleaned the carcass out of the chimney, and went on top of the house to examine the chimney. They recommended a certain chimney cap that would work with our chimney, didn't have one on hand, drove out to pick it up and came back to install it. That same-day service was MUCH appreciated given the awful odor of that decaying squirrel. Under the circumstances, I though the price was absolutely reasonable.

They did a good job. They came out on time, and were the only outfit I could get a call back from.

Called the company to schedule cleaning on chimney. Two guys showed up, did barely anything, and were gone in 30 minutes. For our second chimney they said something was stuck in the flu and couldn't do anything with it, yet charged us despite not even cleaning it. I don't think they even went on the roof. Would definitely not recommend or use again.

Two people who reeked of cigarette smoke spent about 15 minutes in my house- 10 to vacuum the chimney with a portable vac from my living room and 5 to fill out the invoice. I mention their odor not because I'm being nasty due to the service, but because it really, really was offensive and remained long after they'd finished the job. When asked if they check the chimney flue or looked at the integrity of the chimney from the roof, one of the guys said, "no ma'am. we do a visual inspection of the chimney from the ground level." (Huh?) I was unimpressed and will use someone else next time.

I called them and they said they did not come because they could not contact us. They told us they tried to contact us, but there is no evidence they did. When I called them back they were rude and had more business than they needed so they could not reschedule.

Showed up on time. Courteous. Professional job of cleaning chimney. Did not make or create dust.

Very well. Fast, clean, and reasonably priced. I forgot to ask them to clean one part of my insert that probably wasn't part of a standard cleaning, but I think they would have done it if I had requested it.
