I took my laptop to PC Medix on Dec 18, 2008. At check in, I explained in detail the symptoms the laptop originally exhibited, what malware scanners and removal tools I had run to attempt to solve the problem and how the laptop was operating after using the scanners and removal tools. The person at the counter told me it would be the next day before the shop could get to my computer. The next morning a tech, Corey, called to say my laptop did not have a virus. I then repeated the detailed explanation from the previous day. While on the phone, Corey started the computer and confirmed the problems I described were still occurring. He told me he would look at the computer again. He called a few hours later and explained what he had found, an adware application, and what he had done to fix the problem. The computer has been working for over a month since then without any problems. Overall PC Medix did a good job of fixing the problem. It would have been a better experience if the person at the counter had listened to my explanation when accepting the computer. They would have fixed the problem on the first try and returned my computer several hours sooner.

I was having problems shutting it down through the Windows system. When I started it up a screen came up asking for things that they had never heard. They took it out of the system and fixed everything. My experience with them was excellent. He came within a day.

PC Medix quickly discovered and fixed my computer problem. I had dropped off my PC, and was expecting it to be in the shop for a long time, but was pleasantly surprised when I got a call within 2 hours that it was ready and the cost was what I had expected. I will certainly use them again.
